Loved the area to chill round the pool. Pool good for cooling down but the photos are deceptive, defo not a swimming pool and no where near as big as the photos make it look.

Eu amei o Hostel!! Tudo foi impecável… localização perfeita, tudo muito bonito e bem cuidado.. e lavaram minhas roupas do jeitinho que pedi rsrs… Andrea e Marli foram adoráveis demais… eu adorei tudo!!

the location is perfect for exploring the city the hostel activities are good and the volunteers who run them are amazing! free pasta night is great! breakfast was good, sometimes a little small and lacking flavour but not bad for a free breakfast we got free use of the bikes for an hour which was a lovely thing to do a sunset cycle around the city (the bikes are in an absolute dire state of repair though)

main problem - the driver for one of the hostel day trips agreed to something that he later didn’t stick to/shouldn’t have agreed to so we were stranded and had to pay for a taxi to get back despite already paying for transport- in the end we were so delayed because of this and missed an event we had already booked a ticket to and had to rebuy this for another time. overall we spent a whole load more money than we should have because of this one problem with the driver! the hostel gave us a smoothie each (lol) as compensation but honestly it wasn’t ok…. they blamed it on the fact the driver is a third party but ultimately the hostel is the reason i used this driver, so that means you’re responsible for our experience with them. other smaller issues - there are no reading lights in the double room apart from the big light so you cannot read before bed or chill in the evening without it being super bright - one wall of our room was completely glass with no curtains at the top so as soon as the sunrises you’re forced to wake up - a mirror in the room would be useful - we had to squeeze in the shared bathroom with other people getting ready on the day everyone was going to treehouse and it was just so cramped. having a small mirror in each room would save this. - on this same day everyone was trying to shower at same time and we had to wait a while for showers - there’s only 4 for the whole hostel it seems - the one pillow you got was so old and squashed literally like a pancake, my neck ached the whole time i was there - our room opened into the courtyard which is loud at night with everyone and plus the music so not ideal for sleeping early for early starts etc - the pool is in a building across the road so not ideal but a nice chill spot - it’s very small though, only 4 people can sit in the sun here and because of the high walls the sun isn’t there the whole day - the attitude of some of the staff is not great - honestly felt like they didn’t want us there.
