Nice property in the heart of Alcoutim.
6 / 10Average·Nov 2021
This property was in the centre of Alcoutim and close to bars/restaurants and the start of wonderful walking trails. The property was adequate for our needs as we were out all day walking but not particularly comfortable. The beds were small but there were plenty of blankets as it was cold. There were a great selection of crockery, pots and pans etc plus a washing machine and dishwasher. Electric plug points in the kitchen were non existent but there was a kettle which we plugged in elsewhere. The house was quite cold as it was November but there was a heating unit for downstairs and one heater upstairs for one of the bedrooms. It was great to be able to take our dog. There was plenty of hot water for the house but we would have liked new soap rather than old leftovers from previous clients. ?possibly invest in some small bars of soap so each client can have a new one. The fridge wasn’t particularly clean but it did have a freezer section which was good. The parking that was advertised was not exclusive for the property but on a main road outside. We always managed to find a place but it should not be advertised as “parking” but as “ parking available on street outside”. There’s no guarantee that in busier times there would have been parking there. The access to the house at the lower level where the car was parked was extremely narrow and steep and with luggage was quite difficult. The local supermarket was excellent. The TV and WiFi were very good.
