Very nice

Nice place lovely bed and very close to st Ives very clean very comfy bed and bus right outside very easy to get about to st Ives or go out visiting nearby like Hayle

WiFi password on three different phones didn't work and one was O2 one was three and Cornwall is always bad reception I know I grew up st just /sennen...not a massive thing but girlfriend moaned about the smell from restaurant below didn't bother me so that's down to personal traits I think

Pleasant stay

Great location, near Tesco and bus stop to St Ives. Self check-in was convenient. On site parking was handy. We also enjoyed The Bean Inn, vegetarian restaurant downstairs.

Property was very quiet, clean and location was perfect and close to Tescos shop and the beach.

A welcoming place to stay.

The views from the Lounge and Bedroom windows. If we had needed it, the accommodation was very well equipped. The owner was there by chance when we arrived and she was very helpful explaining where amenities were close by. We were only staying one night but if we were there for longer, it would also have been very comfortable.

The sink in the bathroom was small and quite low down. If you were tall it could have been a problem. That was the only thing that I experienced.

2 nights in Carbis Bay.

Comfortable bed. Clean. Quite spacious. For a longer stay we would have stocked up with coffee and breakfast things. Good location to visit other places. Went to Barbara Hepworth house and garden. Penzance and Lands End. Private Parking.

Location meant options for eating/getting into St Ives a bit limited. Caught bus once but walked back as not very frequent buses.

The views from the flat were amazing overlooking the sea, and the coast, and only a few minutes into the town. It was very self-contained.

The only thing I didn’t like well maybe too many stairs, but that’s me the bathroom could do a bit of update, but doesn’t that it it’s a nice little flat

Carbis bay great break

Liked that you could get into St. Ives easily by bus, train, or walk. The apartment was small but comfortable and lovely and quiet. Also, our contact Gail was great at answering quickly when messaged.

The bathroom is quite small, and sometimes you got dripping tap sound at nights but nothing in the apartment was running. Also, the walk up from Carbis beach was very steep

Poor

The view out of the window

We were extremely disappointed with the accommodation. It was like climbing a mountain to get to it. There's steps from the road up to the diabolical entrance (very dirty, poorly maintained).then more stairs, which we had expected, and finally, a steep set up to a cramped entrance to the Attic. Which is cramped and small. The bedroom is very small. The bed has been referred to as a 'double ' it's a three-quarter bed. Difficult to manoeuvre around. The shower is smaller than a phone box, and the shower door jams once you're in it, so you have to reach over the top to release it. The water runs hot and cold, making it unpleasant to use. The 'kitchen' is also cramped and pretty much unusable. The table and chairs are rickety and wobbly. The sofa is reasonably comfortable. The windows are dirty. The outside ledges are covered in 'slime' as well as bird dropping. The bedroom radiator is full of dirty dust, and the bed slats have dirt and fluff trapped in them. We left the accommodation early as it became too challenging to stay there. There's a portable fan in the bedroom, which is full of dirt and dust. So when the temperature in the Attic became uncomfortable, we couldn't use it as it's a health hazard. We never saw the proprietor only received emails. There's a restaurant on the lower floor, which we didn't use. Due to the standard of cleanliness, especially on the entrance area. The outside space is poorly maintained and overgrown. On the one occasion we did try to use it, the neighbouring house had someone smoking out of their window. We had been looking forward to our stay and were prepared for some possible issues. But we're sorry to say the accommodation actually spoilt our time in Cornwall it felt like an endurance test!

Superb

The location was ideal, only 25 mins walk into town. The room was clean and airy with sea view. Overall, was very pleased with the little apartment.

Though there was a small kitchen area with electric stoves, there was no sugar or salt which was a bit unexpected as it’s always a staple in B&Bs accommodations. It’s only a minor inconvenience and only if you want to cook or take sugar in tea or coffee.

Supplied own breakfast. Location was excellent with excellent views across the bay> very comfy bed. The restaurant at the premises was excellent too. Overall, a very nice place.

The apartment door key was broken and had to lock the bedrooms and remove barrel of apartment lock to secure. The radiator didnt seem to work in the lounge area A fresh washing up sponge would have been nice .

Excellent location, good facilities and good communication prior to arrival

Very warm room due to recent heatwave. Could've done with a fan in the room but not a fault of the owner just the British weather.
