We had a great visit. The house was as expected and had everything we needed. It was great to have fresh bread every other morning with a Boulangerie less than five minutes walk away. One of the unexpected highlights was the town fete with lots of stalls and live music in the evening. Plenee Jugon is an ideal base for visiting the sites and towns of Brittany.

We enjoyed our stay, the location was prefect for easy journeys to the coast and further afield to explore. We had very warm weather and the house stayed cool at all times, thankfully. We really enjoyed Jurgon les Lac, and so did our dog who loved swimming in the lake.

Just finished our 2 week stay June into July 2022. Cottage really was as described, everything practical you need and comfortable/cosy. Completely hidden from the street, with an extremely generous enclosed garden, so of course our 2 cocker spaniels loved it! Plenee Jurgon is a lovely village and seems to be growing. Has everything you could need in walking distance, intermarche and most importantly boulangerie/patisserie. So if you don’t want to drive anywhere you can just relax in the garden and take a short walk to the shops. Good location to explore Brittany. Dinan 30 minute drive is well worth a visit. Jurgon Les Lacs only 10 mins drive and has a lovely walk around the lake here plus water park, swimming pools and bike trails. Centre of village has a beautiful square to relax with a coffee and great options for food. Dinard a bit further away but well worth the 50 min to an hour’s drive. St Malo is just a short drive from here and also worth a visit. If relaxing and or exploring Brittany, this holiday cottage is perfect for a family. The host and local contact for the property were both very pleasant and replied to any queries we had without delay.

Just completed a wonderful week at this property. Everything was perfect, from the Comms with the owner through to check in and the house itself. The house was very clean and had everything you could have needed. Situated in a lovely village within a few mins drive of Jugon Les Lacs which is a great way to spend a day either walking around the lake or hiring bikes. Dinan well worth a visit as is Mont St Michel. Thoroughly enjoyed time there with my children and would highly recommend

A lovely house with large garden situated in the quiet village of Plenee Jugon. The house is well kept and nicely furnished. We enjoyed watching the bats that fly over the garden as dusk is falling.. The village has two bakeries and a butcher who makes a "Plat du jour", within a few minutes walk from the house and a small supermarket. The coast is less than an hour away and other places to visit such as Jugon les Lacs and Lamballe are close by. The Routier cafe/restuarant at Tramain is well worth a visit.

The cottage was very well equipped, cosy and comfortable. The garden is really lovely for dogs. Village is very pretty and has everything you need ! Very friendly too. Dinan is within easy reach and beautiful. St Cast on the coast is well worth a visit too. As always in France the food everywhere is wonderful and Brittany is no exception.

Lovely stay with our dogs. Very comfortable accommodation with everything you need. English TV is a bonus if it rains. Fab garden, the village is also well situated with 2 bars and 2 restaurants with in a 5 minute walk. Highly recommended.

We were blessed with superb weather for our stay so we made the most of the wonderful garden, and loved the birdsong each morning. The cottage was comfortable and we felt really relaxed after our week. Good too to be able to stroll into the village and find at least one boulangerie open each day for fresh bread and cakes. Not every restaurant was open, but we discovered a great creperie just a short drive away at Dolo. The directions to the cottage were clear and we had no problems either gaining access or during our stay, so it was all very stress free, thanks to Julie and Shirley. Ty Mad was the perfect base for exploring the area which we did not know too well, with the coast and places like Dinan and St Malo within easy reach.

We were very impressed with every aspect of the cottage, from easy access to the key (via a key box) to the overall cleanliness of the whole place. It was in a great location for traveling out each day, and had good amenities in the village, bar tabbac , bakery and supermarket with petrol station. The garden was wonderful for the dog, if a little overgrown in parts, and very quiet except for the birds singing, great for us as we wanted a place to unwind and relax in February. The cottage had a large lounge with wood burner, WIFI was excellent as was the light bright kitchen, lovely space to sit for breakfast. We would highly recommend the cottage and hope to return soon.

Lovely cottage in Brittany which sleeps 6, but the living space would be tight. Caters for the British market with satellite TV. Wonderful garden (it was a complete surprise) and really dog friendly. The location was great, with beaches (wonderful), Dinan, Mont St Michel ... in easy reach. Only down sides were, no dishwasher (not a problem as we didn't cook), the path to the front door can get very slippery after rain and beware the low beams in th bathroom (it has character). We had a lovely week there and the great weather meant we didn't have to play the countless DVD's or games that were provided.

La maison a de bons côtés car elle est spacieuse, il y a une grande cuisine, et un toilette à l’étage et un en bas, côté pratique ! Par contre, nous avons été très déçu par l’accueil, cela aurait été sympa d’avoir au moins un petit mot à notre arrivée, un message pour nous demander si nous étions bien installés…. Rien de tout cela, on n’a vu personne le temps de notre séjour. Les chaises étaient encore sur la table…. La propreté laisse à désirer, les tapis au sol sont sales et tachés. Pas hygiéniques, beaucoup d’humidité, les fenêtres sont moisies, les radiateurs rouillés, il y a une forte odeur de renfermé et d’humidité, nous avons dû relaver tous nos vêtements, même ceux qui étaient propres, la cuisine est spacieuse mais manque d’ustensiles (grand couteau, plats…..), le sol était taché et sale, les meubles de cuisine sales et gras, l’intérieur sous l’évier une horreur! La table extérieure était bancale et rafistolée avec de la corde, pas de transats comme annoncé alors qu’il faisait chaud, la terrasse est remplie de mauvaises herbes, les poubelles extérieures sont immondes! Et sentent très mauvais! Dans la trousse de toilette, certains produits sont périmés depuis 2006/2010!! C’est la première fois que nous réservons avec abritel et nous avons été fortement déçus…. (J’ai d’ailleurs pris quelques photos …). Ce serait peut-être bien de faites quelques travaux car c’est une location qui a un gros potentiel. Christelle

La maison est située sur un terrain clôturé permettant ainsi d apprécier le calme du village sereinement. Dans le salon ambiance cosy face a la cheminée. Les prestations de la maison étaient au top, cuisine bien équipée (il ne manquait rien), la chambre était idéalement orientée vers le jardin. Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour.

Mein Mann und ich waren vom 30.08. - 06.09.2020 in diesem wirklich schönen Haus. Besonders gut hat uns der Garten gefallen. Bei tollem Wetter hat uns das Frühstück im Garten nochmal so gut geschmeckt. Zum Wandern und Radfahren ist die Gegend gut. Wir wollten wegen Corona sowieso nicht in touristische Hochburgen. Zur Küste ist es nicht weit. In der Küche hätte ich mir allerdings mehr Sauberkeit gewünscht, insbesondere in Coronazeiten. Viele Grüße Kerstin

Wir hatten sehr schöne Tage in dem ruhigen, gemütlichen und geräumigen Häuschen. Den großen Garten mit den vielen Brombeeren haben wir sehr genossen. Leider war die Wohnung als wir ankamen überall voll mit Hundehaaren und Staub so dass wir zuerst einmal gründlich putzen mussten.
