The location of the hotel is right in the harbour area of Hydra and very easy to locate. The luggage storage facility on the front of the building is where the staff are located outside of check-in times, which another guest pointed us to as we were a bit early. We were able to access our room from 1pm and had one at the front with a small balcony. This was a great place to watch the world go by. The hosts are really helpful at providing clear information about how different aspects of the room work such as air-con and hot water. The room had a mezzanine level where the large, super-comfy bed was located. Bathroom and sitting area were on first level.
Breakfast could either be eaten downstairs around the large table or taken up to your room which we opted to do given we had a balcony. We got to watch all the supplies for the island being delivered and sorted at the port and loaded onto the handcarts or donkeys. I would love to come back to Hydra in cooler weather and do more walking and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
