50 year old Solo Female Traveler - this place was great! Close enough to walk from the Ferry (even with a big heavy suitcase) - rolling bag on cobblestone was pretty ok. The staff was very helpful with allowing me to store my bags, stay an extra night, etc. Quiet neighborhood, about a 5 minute walk to the nearest corner store, restaurants are plenty. Would no hesitate to recommend this place and I will use it again next time :)

We came here directly from Athens Airport to recuperate from the day long trip from home. What a great, quiet way to be introduced to Greece!!! Located on the level of the port so no trouble dragging bags here. Everything beyond this point is up hill! Perfect, expansive views of the village and sea from the room and hotel roof. Welcoming and helpful hosts.

It is a family run business and the family is very kind and helpful. The location is great. Hydra is amazing. We were grateful for the beach towels that the Achilles staff lent us. I can honestly recommend the Achilles.
