The view of the sunset from the accommodation was phenomenal, as was sunrise from across the street. The apartment was directly opposite the bus stop, which was very convenient for getting into the city (especially since the buses were quite cheap). I also liked the outdoor area with a table and chairs - it provided the ideal spot to eat dinner, or just sit and relax with my friends.
The walk to the nearest shops was slightly longer than expected - not a huge distance, but far enough that it was a challenge to walk to the shops, and then carry our shopping back to the accommodation. Not a serious issue (particularly thanks to the buses) but it is definitely worth timing your trips so that you aren't walking back up the hill while carrying multiple bags of shopping in the hottest part of the day!
Walking home in the late evening is a very enjoyable experience however, and takes roughly an hour from the city.
