Setting in the desert is incredible

To say it was excellent time is like saying nothing. We’ve spent in the camp magic, amazing and remarkable moments. They gave us total mind reset and power for the body. The people were very very kind, hospitable and we felt they took care of us all the time. If we knew it will be so awesome time we would stay not only 2 nights but much longer in the camp. Don't forget to go for a camel ride, desert safari with a crazy ;-) driver, quads and sandboarding. We would like to thank the Chief Alfarooq and all the Team for everything. It was the best part of our trip around the Oman.

The team at Alsarmadi Desert Camp is without a doubt very friendly and focused on the guests in every way. Due to the location of the camp in the desert, three meals are taken in the camp itself or during organized tours. The food was typical for the country in order and ample.

Judging by the simple and especially the poor condition of tents and sanitary facilities, the price of the stay was considerably too expensive. In the evening, the wind usually freshens. Due to the poor condition of the tents (zippers defective, Velcro strips for closing the "windows" torn off, etc.) all belongings were covered with sand within half an hour. Even moving to another tent did not change this. The zipper of the entrance was okay, but the window closures just not. Toilets and showers, which belonged to each tent, were in a very bad condition. Clean, but only conditionally functioning. The toilet drain ends openly directly behind the shower and toilet house, which stands only few steps from the tent. You can imagine for what that means.
