About this apartment rental

Our lofts are great for one night but really nice for several days. The separate living room makes for a comfortable extended stay. The sofa makes into a bed accommodating the additional 2 people The bedroom opens to a nice deck overlooking our 3 acres. In the winter it is a beautiful snow covered hill and summer/fall beautiful green grass. From the deck and loft you can hear the sound of our Amish neighbors going about their daily activities with horse and buggies. The lofts also have a kitchenette that consists of microwave, toaster oven, fridge, coffee pot and table settings. We have wifi and tv. All linens are provided. We are pet friendly, sorry no cats and no more than 2. We ask that you let us know about your pets upon request for booking. Pet fee is $20 per pet per day. Pets must be crated when in unit alone. Please do not bring pet without permission. There will be a one time charge if $200 if you do. The loft is very convenient to all the local attractions from Amish farms, antiques stores, amish made furniture stores, restaurants, and wineries.

The VRBO listing accurately described the loft apartment where we stayed. However, the loft was not thoroughly cleaned prior to our arrival as there was Easter grass on the carpet and dust on the furniture. Also, the temperature control was very difficult — the back bedroom stayed much hotter than the front. The check in process was very easy, and the host was nice and friendly. Overall, our stay was average.

Property was clean. Property description at time of reservation indicated that there would be a stove top. Loft 2 in which we stayed had none. We were able to adjust. Bottom line, we would stay there again. Duane

Needed a place to stay for a few days. We like VRBO. It was just as advertised. We really just slept there, because we left early morning and did not return until late night. Had all the convinces of home . Very clean. Would have lived to sit on back porch in mornings or afternoons but it was too cold. Snow was beautiful! We would definitely liked to be on ground floor , easier to load and unload, but we knew about the steps going in. Even though it snowed and icy we used the salt and took our time without problems. We would definitely stay there again !! Thank you for a wonderful visit!

I didn’t realize there was so many steps upstairs and in the morning it was frosty and I slid, it definitely needs a traction tape. my husband and I were celebrating our 28th wedding anniversary and he bought steaks and we didn’t have a place to fix them so I was kind of brokenhearted about that. but the part I loved was that we got to take our well behaved great Dane. Very cozy!

We thought it was a bit different to be asked to clean and take your garbage out after you have already paid a cleaning fee. Also would have been nice to have more than 5 sugars and 5 creams when you have booked for 3 nights. Not to mention having only 2 towels, although more were available you just needed to go to a cabinet and get them These are conveniences that they might think about for other people.

There was a nice view from the deck and the bed was comfortable. The WiFi did not work in the apartment; we had to go outside to use it. There was no air conditioning in the bedroom, and the only coffee provided was decaf.

Got up early shopping. Everything is just a short distance. Relaxed in the evening on the hill behind the rentals. Set under the tree in the provided chairs and watched the cows and a horse.

This is a wonderful for anybody who wants to travel to Amish Country and do a lot of activists, there’s plenty to do with such a short driving distance to each because of the location. It has a nice, cozy feeling to it and is a great place to experience Amish country, would definitely recommend and stay again!

Very clean up on entering. The main bed is queen size the other bed was a futon if you’re staying make sure you bring fresh water. The water on property I think is well water witch is perfectly safe just wife and I wasn’t used to it. The location was perfect close to Berlin and other activities we like doing. Property manager responded to everything we asked. Love our stay will be back again. Thanks

We are so thankful we discovered this gem in Amish country. We will definitely book again. The hosts were so friendly and have put thought and care into their property. Every inch is designed with their guests in mind. It provides a beautiful and peaceful escape. We stayed in Loft #2. It was pet friendly (which we found is a rarity in Amish country) but there is no evidence pets have previously stayed there. It was so clean I didn’t mind my children playing and enjoying the loft. The property is located within minutes of Hershberger’s Farm and all the other great places in the area. Do yourself a favor and enjoy this special find!

We were to get instructions for checkin by email but the email didn't arrive until 12 noon on our arrival date. We were on the road at 8 am. I believe that was were VRBO dropped the ball not the owners. When we got there we didn't know what to do so we contacted the owner. [Be sure to have their number handy. They are great help in getting problems resolved.] They got everything straightened out in no time. After that everything went fine. It's not far from Rt 39 and many things of interest like shopping and food. Oh the food, yum.

What a lovely stay! The loft was equipped with what we needed for our short stay and it was located centrally for all of the stops we wanted to make in Amish country. Such a beautiful location, clean, and comfortable, and Suzanne was very helpful. Highly recommend.

We loved staying at the Loft and enjoyed the beautiful property. Perfect for an Amish Country getaway! Ideally located...away from the crowd, yet close enough to everything to be convenient. Owners are super nice and very accommodating. The only minor drawback was very spotty Wi-Fi during our visit, which made it difficult to keep in touch with family back home or take care of e-mails, etc while traveling.

Clean and homey apartment. It seemed a bit dated, but comfortable and quite. There were some toiletries and snacks available for purchase. Soap was included, but shampoo was not. The water did have a strong mineral smell to it (maybe well water). I felt it was worth the cost.

It was a wonderful place for me to get away and clear my head. The owners are wonderful and ver accommodating. The place is exactly how it was described. It was nice and peaceful, beautiful scenery and the deck overlooking the Amish County was a perfect place to rewind after my long days at work. It’s centrally located to Berlin and Millersburg. A great little getaway location!!

We enjoyed our stay in the loft apartment, which was very clean and roomy enough for my husband and I and our medium sized dog. My only surprise was the thinness of the walls between the loft apartments. Could hear every conversation our neighbors were having. Unfortunately there was a party in the barn and quite noisy on the Saturday night we stayed. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay very much!

We were planning a two week trip to Amish country in Ohio and would be traveling with our dog which was creating issues finding lodging.
