About this house rental

Our farmhouse is a lovely 1940s Amish built renovated farmhouse. 1 mile from Berlin 3 miles from charm and 4 miles from Mount Hope. The Morris suite is on the first floor of the farmhouse. It consist of one bedroom with a queen bed. Living room with sleeper sofa and a private bathroom. When renting the Morris suite you also have access to a full kitchen, dining room, additional sitting area on the front of the house. It’s a great place to see our Amish neighbors coming and going during a normal day of their life.

Very well maintained. Obvious you put a lot of money and thought into the barn. Loved the back patio. FYI a there were three bugs that crawled out from under the dryer.,we took care of them. Wife couldn’t use shower because floor was very slippery and she is afraid if falling again. But overall it was just what we needed.

We were moved to a loft with a flight of stairs. We had booked to stay in the Amish home with access to kitchen, dining, and extra seating area . We got an email on Sunday, the day of check-in, that we had been moved. However, we had no access to our email as we had a 14 hour drive. When we arrived we had not received instructions on checking in and no one was on the property. After two nights, my husband did tell' Susanne' we were not happy with our place. 'Susanne' told us we could move to another place on adjoining property . She did remarked that this was a 'nice jester' and then later canceled this but did give us $190. credit. We are both 69 years old. A flight of stairs during rain, a little sleet, and snow is not a good thing. Just this past spring, had to have surgery on my wrist and metal plate put in due to a fall.
