About this cottage rental

The beautifully renovated buildings are organized in an L around a courtyard free of cars. The red window frames enhance the purple country stone walls which are reflected in the pond.
The vegetable garden overlooks the courtyard, the garden furniture borders the pool water, the peacocks make the wheel under your windows: everything creates a soothing atmosphere. Both outside and inside, the house displays its authentic character. The renovation, by giving pride of place to noble materials, is a respectable success. Emmanuelle and Tanneguy followed their personal ideas to develop the gîte. The bright colors, the beams, the stylish furniture and the refined prints prove them right.
The Gîte de l'Aune is part of the Voyagez Responsable club in Brittany for its commitment to the environment and its contribution to local life.

We spent a week in this beautiful countryside gite. The accommodation was immaculately presented, spacious, very comfortable and easy to keep clean. We were welcomed with a lovely pot of homemade jam and were shown around every facility we could have needed. Our hosts were kind, helpful and easy going, leaving us to enjoy our holiday and the property without any interference. The large pool was kept lovely and warm and immaculately clean. We were left to enjoy this freely over our stay and my whole family loved this. Lots of pool toys and recliners are also available, along with a table tennis table which was great fun. The pool has a raised hard cover so even though we had a very sunny stay, it could be left on for comfortable swimming in any weather. The gite has its own private back garden which is another lovely space to enjoy, looking down over a small lake below. Being immersed in the countryside is a wonderful way to spend a holiday, with the typical wake up call of the neighbouring cockerel, and the less typical company of the family of peacocks that roam the grounds, popping in to our living room to share breakfast. The area itself is an easy 1h30 from St Malo which has lovely beaches and Mont st-Michel which made for a breathtaking day out. The local towns just a few minutes away from the gite are full of typical French character and the charming vernacular architecture. We stayed as a family of 4 (4 adults and 1 baby) in July and had a lovely stay in the farmhouse. The farmhouse itself is beautiful with wonderful grounds, including peacocks and geese which our 11 month old absolutely loved watching! The surrounding area is beautiful with lots of nice towns and lakes to visit. Would definitely recommend!

A very warm welcome at this comfortable, characterful and well equipped cottage. Private garden area perfect for barbecue: totally peaceful and overlooking the lake. Use of an excellent swimming pool after days exploring nearby. We found plenty to do within a short drive: chateaux, menhirs, market towns, activities at lake Trémelin. Would recommend for a family stay.

La localisation du gîte est parfaite pour explorer la région et se rendre dans les divers lieux d'activités autour des légendes. De vakantiewoning is uitstekend voorzien van allerlei comfort. Twee badkamers, goede bedden, een vaatwasser, lekkere tuin met voldoende schaduw, een bbq, etc. Het gehele erf (er worden op hetzelfde erf ook enkele B&B’s verhuurd) heeft een mooie uitstraling door de goed onderhouden tuin, een moestuin en een aantal dieren die vrij rondlopen (poezen, een pauwenpaar, ganzen). Het is daarom prettig vertoeven. Enige nadeel van de plek is dat er in de buurt zeer weinig toeristische uitjes zijn, maar dat was voor ons in Corona tijd een bewuste keuze.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans le gite de l’étang de l’aune. Celui-ci était très propre à notre arrivée et bien aménagé. La literie est tres confortable et le calme environnant est propice au sommeil réparateur et reposant. Les propriétaires sont tres discret mais à notre écoute si besoin. Nous n’avons pu profité de la piscine car la météo n'était pas de notre coté mais celle-ci est tres bien sécurisée. Nous avons pu visiter tous les lieux liés aux légendes arthuriennes sans faire trop de voiture. Seul bémol pour nous, gros consommateur de café, la cafetière pas très grande et pas très récente.

Nous avons passé deux semaines dans une superbe maison en pierre, un jardin privatif pour des repas avec vue sur l’étang, une piscine chaude et bien aménagée. Des hôtes charmants et aux petits soins et aussi la compagnie des animaux, dont la famille paon qui ont enchanté les enfants. Bref, un séjour parfait, dans un environnent calme et ravissant pour des vacances en familles paisibles et reposantes.

Le gîte d'Emmanuelle et Tanneguy est parfait pour déconnecter ! Situé en pleine campagne et tout proche du Lac de Trémelin pour se promener en famille. Le jardin est magnifique, le gîte est impeccable, il y a tout ce qu'il faut pour se sentir comme à la maison, avec en prime la piscine ! Tanneguy et Emmanuelle sont aux petits soins. Les enfants et nous-mêmes avons adorés croiser Coco le paon et sa famille dans le jardin. Ne pas hésiter pour cette adresse, un bon séjour garanti ! Merci Emmanuelle et Tanneguy

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans le gite de T Jayet. Le gite est très bien équipé, une maison ancienne rénovée avec goût tout en gardant son cachet. Avec une mention particulière aussi pour le jardin privatif où nous avons apprécié de prendre nos repas. Le propriétaire, T Jayet, était fort sympathique et à la fois discret mais présent et efficace lorsque l'on avait besoin de qq chose. Très bel endroit pour ce reposer au calme dans un lieu renové avec beaucoup de goût et de soins. Les animaux dans la cour (paons, chats...), le beau jardin aux milliers de narcisses qui colorent l'entrée et les alentours... tout cela permet de reposer l'esprit, le corps et l'âme ce qui était le but d'un stage organisé dans ce lieu. L'intérieur est très propre, très soigné, les salles de bain toutes rénovées de façon impeccable, chauffage au sol, feu de cheminée, grande salle pour faire des méditations et du yoga. Tout est réuni pour "lâcher prise". Merci à Emmannuelle et Tanneguy pour leur accueil et leur discrétion !

Ayant choisi ce gîte pour l'organisation d'un stage de 7 jours/6 nuitées, je suis entièrement satisfaite. Ce qui m'a surtout plu c'est la qualité du lieu, la rénovation aux matériaux écologiques, le jardin ou poussent des milliers de narcisses et qui rendent ce bel ensemble de bâtiments d'une ancienne ferme très "cosy". L'ambiance créée par le beau mobilier multi-coloré en mixe de style est chaleureuse et le chauffage au sol est très apprécié. C'est un endroit pour se reposer au calme. Un feu de cheminée est allumé en quasi permanence. Merci à Emmanuelle et Tanneguy pour leur accueil de qualité !
