• “The Art Studio” (for 1 to 2 people) is perfect for your Tourist or Professional Stay! It offers you comfort and design.
Located in the historic center of La Rochelle, it is ideally placed for visiting the whole city on foot.
The market, the port, the parks, all the shops and services, entertainment, cultural visits and restaurants are in the immediate vicinity.
“Art Studio” is a very comfortable and bright place and stands out for its sober and careful decoration.
DESCRIPTION
Studio - with independent entrance into the building
The Studio (24m2 and completely independent) is located on the ground floor of a large bourgeois house from the 19th century, completely refurbished.
The street is very quiet, reduced traffic, and not very busy.
It has quality equipment.
• The living-room is equipped with high-end bedding (Two real beds for 2 people with slatted base articulated relaxation European queen (1. 60 mx2 m.) On request, we can prepare 2 separate beds, a wardrobe and work space and 80 cm LCD flat screen.
• An open kitchen (fully equipped) with breakfast counter (Nespresso machine) and also a dining area (table and 3 chairs) and a library.
• A bathroom with an Italian shower and 1 sink (Grohe taps), as well as a heated towel rail and wc.
In addition, bed linen, towels and tea towels are provided and included in the rental price.
For your comfort, the studio has been designed with sound insulation (walls and ceiling) and the 2.20mx1.20m window is double glazed

DISTRICT INFORMATION
• A bakery (and its delicious brioches) is at the corner of the perpendicular street and a Carrefour market (near the central market) 5 min. on foot, is open until 10 p.m.
You can walk to all the places of interest in the city very quickly.
• The essential "café de la paix" at 3 min., Large café brasserie 1900 classified as a historic monument, it is the café des rochelais, they like to meet and have a coffee while enjoying the fabulous atmosphere of this magical place.
• the market every day and a stone's throw away
• All shops, services as well as the famous central market (daily arrival of fish) and numerous maritime and regional restaurants at 5 min.
• Natural history museum and plant garden 3 min.
• The port - the café terraces and “la Coursive” (film festival and Festival and documentary festival and also the FrancoFolies) 15 min.
and 2 min. the Parks (which are at the end of the street at 5 mts ....) which take you by a beautiful walk to the beach (ideal also for morning jogging)

My Wife and I found the apartment quite easy using the supplied maps etc. When we arrived we text the owner, Jocelyne, to let her know that we had arrived and she was immediately at the door inviting us in.
The apartment is compact, but being a studio you wouldn't expect anything else.It is though very well laid out and has everything in it that you need. Bed, Dining room and kitchen. The Kitchen is fully loaded and the fridge was stocked with "Welcome Goodies" even homemade preserve, which smashing. table and chairs in the dining room and a good sized double bed, that was a powered version.
The separate bathroom is very well appointed with all new, I think, fittings and the walk in shower is brilliant.
The owners, Jocelyne & Georges who also live on the premises, are two of the most chilled and laid back pair it has ever been my honour to meet and were excellent hosts.
The apartment itself is right in the heart of the city with everything you want within a short walk. DON'T forget to go to the daily market which is both inside and out most days and the added fish stall which is there on a Wednesday, are a delight.
My only gripe is the parking. You cannot .

The facilities were excellent with everything you could possibly need have been provided Great location being close to all amenities and the wonderful marketAlthough in the heart of La Rochelle don’t worry about parking as you have free overnight street parking outside the apartment and within five minutes’ walk a large car park again which is free.... day and nightAlong with a very warm welcome and ongoing support when needed it all made for a wonderful stay in La Rochelle and would highly recommendLes installations étaient excellentes avec tout ce dont vous pourriez avoir besoin ont été fournisExcellent emplacement étant proche de toutes les commodités et du merveilleux marchéBien que dans le coeur de La Rochelle ne vous inquiétez pas de stationnement car vous avez un parking gratuit rue de nuit à lextérieur de lappartement et à moins de cinq minutes à pied un grand parking à nouveau qui est libre jour et nuitAvec un accueil très chaleureux et un soutien continu en cas de besoin, tout cela a fait un merveilleux séjour à La Rochelle et recommande fortement
