Nice location and spaceful flat but was grubby.

The property had not been cleaned before arrival as the landlady was on vacation. Lots of animal hair in the bathroom and toilet.

Spacious and comfortable apartment at the back of Wimereux

Nice big living room and kitchen, large balcony with view over railway line and countryside beyond. Comfortable bed. Excellent lift in the building, the apartment is on the 3rd floor.

Bathroom needs upgrading, especially shower facility. There is no private parking but the in street parking is OK, maybe less good in the summer. We enjoyed the trains but others might not. 🚂

No shower, just hand held spray. Filthy oven., Building called Villa Louise not grand balcon. No mention of digital entry. No reply when owner phoned 3 times. Access gained by helpful resident.

Nice, spacious, quiet apartment, comfortable bed. All mod cons. Nice atmosphere, like at home. Marvellous view over the land and a small stretch of the sea. The cliffs of England can be seen from the living room.

A few details need attention: there were no kitchen towels nor cleaning fluid (we had luckily brought our own), at least three light bulbs were not working and the windows badly need cleaning.

A MUST!

It was a quiet spot, a lovely modern flat , done in a modern way,,the owners’ taste is lovely! The place was spotless too! The location is great, it is worth going there! Wimereux is a gem from the northern beaches of France! And the accès to town center is very quick. A train station is at the door, going to Lille is easy! Wimereux used to be known as the Nice of the North!

It was hard to park without upsetting people..the road is one way and narrow! There is xtra space next to a station, but we did not want to attract attention.. Also, going up and down lift to carry luggage is not for everybody, the well made fire doors are heavy, loads of touching handles, lift buttons, we were always aware of possible contamination The flat, though beautiful, lacks practical places to store our luggages, and to hand enough clothes....we ended leaving everything in the main dining room. We lost a lot of time finding the places where the keys were, and putting them back in town, in another property [ one one way system in town, and on a busy day, big time Lost in traffic ],and on the morning to go, someone decided to ring our flat bell at exactly 8am , from downstairs!

The apartment was very clean and spacious. It was comfortable and very well equipped with many extras. The bed was extremely comfortable and we slept well. Although there was no specific allotted parking there was ample public (free) parking.

Belle découverte de Wimereux et de sa digue

Accueil sympathique, appartement assez bien équipé avec un lit douillet, et l'ascenseur est la bienvenue après une ballade sur la digue de Wimereux et sur le GR jusque Boulogne sur mer.

Le parking ne convenait pas pour une grande voiture, trop de manœuvres.

Wohnung zeigt sich anders als auf den Fotos

Der Balkon und die Aussicht Sind wirklich wunderbar - mit Abendsonne und Blick aufs Meer (in der Ferne über den Dächern bei hier Sicht) ein Genuss. Die große Fensterfront im Wohnzimmer ist wunderbar mit schöner Aussicht ins Grüne. Der Bahnhof in der Nähe, aber keineswegs störend. Verdunklung im Schlafzimmer sehr gut. Sehr bequemes Bett und angenehme Bettwäsche. Ein paar Teile schönen Geschirr.. Parkplätze an der Straße sind immer zu finden. Zum Strand nur ein paar Minuten… Wunderbar. Sehr ruhig die Umgebung, auch das Haus… Toll waren auch die flauschigen Handtücher, die zahlreich da waren (wenn auch teilweise mit Loch). Guter Ausgangspunkt um die Gegend zu erkunden.

Die Wohnung bräuchte eine Renovierung und vor allem eine gründliche Reinigung. (Das scheint wohl ein Dauerthema zu sein -> andere Bewertungen) Als die Vermieterin mich danach fragte und ich ihr die Wahrheit sagte, meinte sie, ich möge es wohl „sehr sauber“ … Es gibt wohl unterschiedliche Standards des sich Wohlfühlens … Der Glas- und Plastikabfall des Vormieters war noch da… Es gibt einen Geschirrspüler, doch nicht einmal ein einziger Tab war da… Auch das Spülmittel war fast leer… abgenutzter Spüllappen …hm… es gibt eine Dusche (nur mit Handbrause) in der Badewanne unter der Schräge - wenn man duscht ist das ganze Bad nass… Die Wohnung zeigt sich- bis auf das Schlafzimmer- nicht wie auf den Fotos. Man merkt, dass an allen Ecken und Enden gespart wird… 5 (!) Kleiderbügel, abgewohnte Möbel und Teppich, Armaturen und Wände bei denen der Belag abblättert… auf dem Balkon befinden sich wackelige Holzstühle statt der Stühle auf dem Foto… und wie ich sehe, bin ich nicht die einzige Mieterin, die das so sieht. Die Auffahrt zum Parkplatz sowie einparken, wenn alle Plätze belegt sind, war wirklich sehr eng trotz kleinen Autos… es gibt jedoch genügend Parkplätze an der Straße… auf Fragen antwortet die Vermieterin entweder gar nicht oder sehr zeitverzögert (>24 Std) Außer wenn es um ihre eigenen Belange ging, da war die Kommunikation sehr flüssig…

Tolle Unterkunft in ruhigem Küstenort – ideal zum Entspannen, Baden und Wandern.

Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt in Wimereux. Der Kontakt zu Caroline war freundlich und unkompliziert. Die Unterkunft ist geräumig und mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen erholsamen Urlaub benötigt. Besonders gut gefallen haben uns der Balkon und die kleine Terrasse – ideal, um den Tag gemütlich ausklingen zu lassen. Obwohl sich die Wohnung direkt am Bahnhof befindet, haben wir davon nichts als störend empfunden. Es gibt eine Parkmöglichkeit direkt vor Ort, auch wenn es beim Rangieren etwas eng werden kann. Wimereux selbst ist ein echter Geheimtipp: Abseits der überlaufenen Touristenorte wie Honfleur, wirkt der Ort angenehm bodenständig und entspannt. Die Seepromenade ist wunderschön, und zum Strand sind es nur etwa 600 Meter zu Fuß – perfekt zum Baden. Auch Wanderfreunde kommen in der Umgebung voll auf ihre Kosten. Wir können die Unterkunft und den Ort wärmstens empfehlen!

Trotz der Lage an der - leisen - Bahnlinie ein idealer Ort für Ausflüge an die Côte d'Opale.

Eigener Parkplatz. ABER: Auffahrt sehr eng (ca, 2,40m breit). Auf dem Parkplatzplateau ist es eng zum rangieren, und wenn gegenüber der Auffahrt noch ein Auto steht, ist es für einen größeren Wagen (Sharan) zu knapp. Alternative kostenlose Parkplätze auf der ganzen Rue Georges Pompidou.

Logement proche du centre ville; on peut tout faire à pieds.

Proprietaires un peu difficile à joindre au début. Entrée parking pas très large. Gare ferroviaire toute proche ; pas signalé par les propriétaires ; cependant le bruit des trains ne nous à pas dérangé.. Vue panoramique sur la mer...à condition d'avoir une bonne vue !!

Appartement charmant. Bien situé. Lit confortable, équipements de cuisine ok. Linge de lit et serviettes de bain présents ce qui constitue un plus. Très propre et très calme au niveau voisinage. Le parking est également un plus car pas bcp de place en dehors de la propriété.

L'appartement est près d'une ligne de chemin de fer ce qui peut être un peu bruyant surtout quand un train passe à 1h du matin pour faire des travaux sur la voie. Table à manger un peu basse.
