Villas en el Bosque

We liked the property a lot. We liked almost everything about it—the location, the staff, and how it looks. The breakfast was phenomenal. My kids are really picky, but they all liked the breakfast at this property. The owners were kind and always ready to help. We saw two different kinds of monkeys. It was a fun experience.

It was kind of hot in the villa where we were staying, but the villa where my boys stayed was nice and cool

We loved the privacy for each villa, the breakfast, the monkeys climbing around the trees near the main deck. We also loved the pool area. There werent many other guests hangingat the pool so it felt like our own! The family that runs the hotel was super friendly and helpful for day trip planning.

This is a Beautiful property located in a lovely settling in the forest. The entire property is very tastefully done. The common deck area is beautiful and makes you feel like you are in the forest. We saw macaws, toucans and monkeys while having breakfast. Our villa was beautifully decorated, very comfortable with a lovely balcony. Nicholas and Vanessa are great hosts and you feel very well looked after. They gave great recommendations as well. The breakfast was delicious with lots of options , we had the lasagna on our first night which was amazing and Nicholas makes a mean margarita. Overall we had a fabulous time.

The road up to the property is a bit steep and tricky with a sharp turn from the main road but you get used to it and the property is totally worth it.

You definitely feel like you are in the jungle. We had a large balcony to observe monkeys, birds and fauna. We enjoyed the pool. The breakfast was authentic and delicious. A true gem.

The rooms were comfortable, but could use some updating.
