Excellent location right in front of the beach, with stunning surroundings. The breakfast staff were very kind and welcoming. It’s also very convenient that the hotel offers activities and diving excursions on site. Having a restaurant downstairs is a plus.
We paid for a higher room category but were initially given a room facing construction, which did not match the booking photos. We were moved the next day, but to a smaller room. Reception was quite reluctant to help. The walls are extremely thin (we could hear the neighbour snoring), the toilet seat was broken, and overall the facilities feel quite old despite looking renovated. Breakfast was fine but basic. The whale shark excursion was beautiful, but very overcrowded, with too many boats and people.

Wonderful pre-trip assistance with boat reservation transfer. Nice welcome on Digurah. Fabulous room with everything working well and extremely clean. Very well run excursions bookable on-site. Nice breakfast buffet on the rooftop restaurant. Great location just at the edge of the fabulous long southern beach end in a sand spit. On-site Lime restaurant is very nice.
My "balcony garden view room" was on the ground floor with a concrete wall view and construction sites and alley just beyond. Make sure you pre-ask for something more imaginative. The whole island seems on the cusp of over-development with all the half-completed hotels.

This was our second stay at Dhiguveli. Some staff remembered us from last year so it was like coming back to friends. A great location just opposite a sandy white beach and the snorkelling areas. There are loungers and chairs along the beach provided for free. Several cafes nearby including the hotels new Lime restaurant opposite the beach. Nice breakfast with a range of foods, including cakes and breads baked daily by Dhiguveli's resident baker. Staff are very attentive to your needs. Well organised pick up and drop off to the Harbour.

Whale Shark & Manta Ray excursion was fantastic.
The smell of cat urine in reception and the area around the stairs
The communication with staff, lacking good English.
The room cleaning… empty drink bottles left for a few days, coffee not replenished each day.
Slow service, our TV wasn’t working on our first day, it took hours for someone to fix it, I went down to Reception twice for an update & I also had to wait a couple of hours to get more coffee for our room.
