A little gem! This hotel is truly beautifuly run. The staff is beyond kind from ferry pickup to drop-off. The staff really go the extra mile with any question throughout your stay. They even helped me have a later breakfast 🙏
The location is perfect 🥰 in the island is right in the middle of town, around the corner to the beach and the cute beach truck/cart.
When I return to Maldives I'll def restay here.

Ho soggiornato al Dhigurah Dhonveli Boutique e nel complesso l’esperienza è stata piacevole. La guesthouse è piccola e tranquilla, in una posizione molto comoda: la spiaggia, i ristorantini e i negozi sono tutti facilmente raggiungibili a piedi. È una buona base anche per organizzare escursioni come mante, squali balena e tartarughe.
Il personale è sicuramente il punto di forza: tutti molto gentili, disponibili e sempre pronti ad aiutare.
Le camere sono pulite e funzionali, senza particolari problemi, anche se non particolarmente grandi.
Ci sono però alcuni aspetti che, personalmente, non mi aspettavo da una struttura definita “boutique”. In particolare, la presenza di mobili in plastica (sedie e tavolini), alcune finiture semplici e una rubinetteria piuttosto datata.
Un altro punto migliorabile è la disposizione degli spazi esterni: c’è un bel patio comune, ma manca completamente la privacy. Nel mio caso il patio dava direttamente sul ristorante e avevo i vicini molto vicini. Inoltre, la porta finestra della camera costringe a tenere sempre le tende chiuse, altrimenti si vede tutto all’interno, il che limita un po’ il comfort e la vivibilità della stanza.
Nel complesso è una buona soluzione per Dhigurah, soprattutto per la posizione e la gentilezza dello staff, ma con alcuni dettagli che potrebbero essere migliorati per essere davvero all’altezza del concetto di boutique.

Hotel is located in a quiet part of the island in a local residential area with a beautiful tropical garden. There are lot of plants and area is cared and very relaxing.
The room was nice and clean, stuff was attentive, cleaning was done every day. Quiet air conditioning. Very comfortable bed.
The breakfast was ok for 4 days. We always got bottles of water too.
Variety of boat trips - have your own equipment tho!
As for the accommodation itself, it is very nice apart from some minor details. However, what is really bad is the customer service and communication with guests.
On the small terrace, which is cozy but cramped between other rooms, you can hear everything from the neighboring room. To maintain privacy, you have to keep the curtains closed all the time, which means no natural light. In our room, the water in the tap barely ran, and the staff was unfortunately unable to fix it during our stay.
I was disappointed by the lack of communication from the accommodation. After booking, I received no information through Booking, and none of my messages were answered. Even Booking's support request was ignored. We were anxious about arranging our transfer from Mali, and only at the last minute did we get a WhatsApp response. When we asked for confirmation, our boat was switched to another hotel.
The hotel staff was nice, but trip planning was confusing. We had to go back and forth to get snorkeling gear. The snorkels we received had mold inside and were extremely dirty—this is a serious health risk. I strongly warn others about renting equipment here. Proper disinfection is essential responsibility of a trip operators. Additionally, the boat lacked enough life vests, which is a major safety concern.
After the trip, we were promised videos, but it took multiple unanswered messages and three weeks before I finally received them.
Customer service, communication, and services are essential aspects of accommodation and shaping the customer experience. Unfortunately, I have to rate my experience less positively than I would like to, even though the accommodation itself is really nice and cozy. I'm glad to hear that a new reservation agent will be hired since the manager is busy away on excursions—this could be a great improvement! :)
