About this cottage rental
Our modern eco-friendly cave with an interior surface approx. of 50 m2 excavated in tuff consists;
A large bathroom with marble cladding, equipped with high-end jaccuzzi, shower tray 100% adapted for people with disabilities and amenities such as hair iron, hairdryer, magnifying mirror, ecological toilet set and more.
In the eco-suite cave 4 people can stay; this one has 4 single beds; two in a cozy master bedroom with 32 '' Smart TV, desk, closet, safe, central weather, two other beds in a modern loft that is integrated into the upper area of the kitchen / dining room, equipped with two comfortable 90 x beds 1. 90
They also have a sofa bed for those who prefer to sleep on the ground floor.
In the main room, it is; a modern fully equipped kitchen, with materials and utensils of the highest quality, is adapted to people with reduced mobility. The living room - dining room with 32 "Smart TV, TV with keyboard. Satellite TV with international channels, fireplace, free access 24/7 Wi-Fi and a comfortable sofa-bed, reading chair, bookshelves with interesting information of the island and books.
The main entrance of the cave has a cozy glazed terrace of about 15m2 that allows you to contemplate the stars with maximum comfort both in winter and summer. For a better observation, we have a Konus telescope that will be at your disposal.
The outdoor area has more than 8,000 m2, of which 1,500 are currently available for guests; divided into several zones; organic farming garden with exotic fruit trees and the country, aromatic plants, vegetables, and more. Gardens with reading areas, and Chill out bed. Outdoor pool with solarium, all this, to share with the hosts.
All the intervention has been carried out in a respectful way with the environment, being the least invasive possible. We have followed the patterns of bioclimatic architecture and zero kilometer architecture, reusing 90% of the water that is consumed and then using it for irrigation, soon we will also produce our own energy.
Access to the pool is in the area adjacent to the hosts' house.
In this space, there is a terrace with four hammocks, two umbrellas, swimming pool, gardens with palm trees and seasonal flowers.
The km 0 architecture is a concept that within the possibilities offered by the market and the medium tries to solve the material needs by going first to the resources found in the field, and as a second option, to companies as close as possible to have a policy that respects the environment duly certified, this diminishes the ecological footprint of the work, since it reduces the amount of fuel needed to move the materials, in addition to encouraging local development and making use of techniques and materials that have traditionally been used in the place where the construction is located.
The average annual temperature of our accommodation is 21º without energy cost.
The wood used comes from sustainable forests and paints, varnishes etc. This modern and cozy space is free of emissions and volatile organic compounds, creating a healthy and welcoming environment like few others, that will make our cave a place of relaxation where living and sleeping will become a totally new experience for the visitor.
Sleeping in the comfort and silence of a cave is a unique experience that will not leave anyone indifferent to try it.

Very nice and comfortable casa close to San Christobal de La Laguna. A wonderfull garden with a lot of fruits like Avocados, Pomegranate, Starfruits, Mandarines and several seating for relaxing. Recommandation!

Estupendo, acogedor,limpio,moderno, con todo lo que necesites en tu casa,con huevos frescos de 2 gallinas todos los días,3 burros,pájaros,piscina....

Ne vous fixez pas qu'aux photos c'est encore mieux en vrai !
Vacances au plus proche de la nature et du respect de celle-ci : eau recyclée à 90%, compost, poules, jardin à venir dont on a pu déjà profiter des figues et délicieuses pitayas...
L'appartement a été conçu par Antonio avec beaucoup d'intelligence de goût et de savoir faire. La température était vraiment de 21° tandis qu'il faisait 38° dehors. Le puit de jour dans la chambre permet d'avoir beaucoup de lumière malgré le fait que ce soit la pièce la plus au fond de la cave.
Accès exclusif à la piscine et à sa cuisine super équipée.
N'hésitez plus : réservez votre séjour au paradis !

The Eco-Cave has been fitted out to a very high standard, incredibly clean and very quiet inside, just perfect for relaxing. To the outside of the cave the seating area is beautifully done and you are able to look across Valle Jimenez and witness real life Tenerife. The Cave is exceptionally well fitted out in both then kitchen and bathroom. As we arrived late Christmas Eve, Belen the owner had kindly arranged to do some grocery shopping for us, of which we greatly appreciated after an incredibly stressful week before leaving the UK! Our Spanish is not so good and Belen also helped us ordering a taxi to Santa Cruz for a meal as the village is quiet remote - which again was highly appreciated. I cant recommend the Eco Cave and Belens service highly enough, we hope to be back soon!
