About this house rental
A fabulous 19th century farm house, with many beautiful original features such as original wooden floorboards, (please wear shoes) original beams, and Beautiful stone barn. Set in the stunning region of creuse and in a little hamlet of La Regeasse. With private swimming pool. Almost every room in the property has stunning views over rolling countryside.
The property has been renovated as a home from home and is fully furnished with 4 ample bedrooms, 3 Doubles and 1 Twin. 3 bath/shower rooms, two of which are en-suite. Bed sheets and fresh towels are provided upon arrival. Every room is individually decorated with its own unique rustic charm. The House contains a well-stocked fully equipped kitchen with cooker, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. There is ample dining space within the property and for those preferring to dine al fresco why not relax and soak up the views from the decking.
The outside decking consists of a good size swimming pool and dining area with seating for 8, a BBQ is available for those chefs who wish to cook outside on warm summer nights.
The house is only a mile away from the beautiful medieval town of Bourganeuf, famous for its period architecture, you will be charmed by this authentic town and beautiful surrounding landscape. You could enjoy wine tasting or maybe try local cuisine specially the creuse cake, which is a dessert named after the region made with butter and hazelnuts, highly regarded throughout France. On Wednesday we have a lovely market where you can buy local produce have a coffee and just watch the world go by.
Perfectly place in the middle of rolling hills this small town has many restaurants, shops and café. Not to forget lots of local patisseries. Who make the most delicious French pastries. Those who wish to explore further afield within a 30 minute drive there is Lac Vassiviere, with stunning beaches and various water sports and lovely walks with lovely bike rides for you keen bikers . Inflatable water park in summer months with sandy beach . Local attractions in gueret is a wolf park ( monts de gueret animal park) which is a great day out, also in gueret is Labyrinth where you can get lost all day.In BOURGANEUF you have muse de electrification,elevate du Palais .

Nous avons passé une séjour très agréable. Dommage que la table de ping-pong et les vélos n aient été disponibles en raison de la crise sanitaire. La région est superbe et la maison très bien placée. La piscine est plus grande que sur les photos et très agréable. La maison est parfaite pour un voyage en famille.

Location convenable, mais intérieur rustique vieillot. Bien équipé, vaisselle mal adaptée. Accès aux clés mal expliqué. Fuite d'eau au robinet. Odeur désagréable dans la salle d'eau du RC. Toutes les explications en anglais !
