Clean, comfortable, good value for price

Directly off of a very busy and stressful road, can’t walk to anything unless you walk along the super scary highway. Doesn’t have a view of the coast.

Had a lovely terrace underneath vine trees to relax and enjoy the view of the hill, minimal water view. The breakfast was good.

No balcony in our room just a window. Not how it is advertised on website. Only one person working at property who needs to learn to smile .

Beautiful location with the sounds of the stream down in the valley and birds in the brush. Amazing garden. The staff attended to our every need and was helpful.

Some night the sounds of music and a party came down the hill from neighbouring Albori, but that wasn't very disruptive. What was worse were big, angry hornets that disrupted every evening we tried to spend outside - their number and the fact that they appeared every night makes me think the nest is somewhere on the property. If they sting a child or a person that is allergic... someone's stay is going to have a tragic end.

It was easy to check in as there was someone to open the front barrier for us and met us at the parking lot to give us the key and help with the luggage. We appreciate that a lot. The place is a bit out of Vietri sul Mare and not near a supermarket or other of the sort so expect to be out of the way. It is in return peaceful and quiet. The room was a good size and had a small kitchenette area that we used for preparing dinner and breakfast.

The breakfast itself was served outside and it was not cooked - mainly pastries and coffee. Not much of a variety. Also, the place inside was relatively clean but the bed and pillows were very very uncomfortable. The outside space didn’t look very well preserved and clean. There was no pool as advertised, the sun beds were dirty and seemed like they have been there for years without anyone taking care of them. Overall, not well maintained area around the actual house. Finally, there was 1 staff member who was on site and he spoke close to no English. Provided this is a location for people who are outside of Italy, I found it very weird. All other places on the Amalfi coast offered some sort of English speaking staff. But here it was a struggle. Due to the language barrier, the person simply did not respond to our questions and appeared rude. That may not be the case as I feel it was due to him not understanding us. Still, the overall experience wasn’t as expected.
