Ferry position, peace of mind.

Just park your car in the Ferry line and go to bed knowing that you will be on your chosen ferry the next day. Conveniently located near the Gryllefjord Ferry Terminal. The house is large with plenty of room to move. Big kitchen with coffee maker, large fridge and dishwasher, complete with detergent. The bathroom is large with a bonus washing machine and drying rack. There are plenty of cleaning materials for tidy people. There is a beautiful view outside the windows of the kitchen and living room. The check-in process at the supermarket was easy and the staff were friendly and helpful. Good communication all round.

We were charged NOK 200 more than the Booking.com quoted price of NOK 1995. We assume that this was for bed linen, however, the linen fee is not fully explained anywhere in the Booking.com information. This is not a big deal, however, clarity around this would be helpful. A cleaning cloth and paper towell in the kitchen would be helpful for future travellers.

Terrible experience

It was an extremely poor check-in experience, and the kitchen utensils were not very clean. Before checking in, the landlord told us that if we didn't want to pay the cleaning fee, we could clean the room ourselves. So we cleaned the room to a high standard. However, when we checked out, we were informed that the use of towels, bath towels and bed sheets was also included in the cleaning fee. Good stay in an excellent location.

The location is excellent with many restaurants and interesting spots. There is a big grocery store nearby probably with the same nice owner. The queue parking for ferry is just next door. Thus, it is so convenient to park there to secure next day trip since early evening and walk back to your cottage or elsewhere. In contrary, there are so many cars parked in line for ferry on the street right in front of the resort and very close to your bungalows.

Cottage is basically equipped and arranged. I had a hard time getting to sleep because there is no blind curtain in the bedroom but only a thin layer of cloth.

Good fishing spot near. Litlle shop next to us. One grill and one litlle restaurant near. Cabin was good and clean and quiet.

End cleaning cost 50€ but you can do it yourself.

Chalet assez grand. Il y a ce qu'il faut dans la cuisine. Salle de bain propre et lits confortables. On récupère les clés à la petite épicerie à côté, à la caisse. Le personnel est accueillant. Un monde fou dans la rue car tous les véhicules attendent pour le Ferry vers Andenes. Mais très calme la nuit. Terrasse qui donne sur le fjord. Endroit sympa après la visite de l'île de Senja ouest pendant la journée.

Pas de tapis de salle de bain pour la descente de la douche. Il faut faire les lits.

Mycket bra och fint läge, rymligt och bra service. Tvättmaskin var ett stort plus samt bekväma sängar. Det låg precis bredvid färjan.

Det fanns bara en uppsättning tallrikar och bestick så vi fick diska hela tiden.

Séjour à Gryllefjord

Grand chalet avec plusieurs chambres bien situé. Salon et cuisine top avec possibilité de faire du feu et de sortir en été mais en avril tout était sous la neige. Tranquil Super marché juste à côté et resto etc. Jolie vue depuis l'appartement sur le fjord Parking gratuit Je recommande d'aller à Trosken au restaurant Senja by heart - incroyables plats et la route est magnifique pour y aller et l'on a une vue superbe sur le Gryllefjord.

Le fait de devoir faire son lit La salle de bain n'était vraiment pas belle et mériterait d'être refaite en isolant les appareils qui s'y trouvent - paravent et en enlevant le sceau/ balais/serpillères qui servent à faire le ménage - pas très ragoûtant. Dommage car le reste était bien sinon.

Équipements ridicules

La maison est grande et bien placée, beaucoup de charme extérieurement.

Pour pratiquement 200 euros la nuit, les équipements sont quasi inexistants. Il n'y a pas de bouilloire ou même une théière, pas de pichet, peu de vaisselle, des radiateurs vétustes (mais qui marchent), pas de liquide vaisselle, et on nous attribue juste deux serviettes. Pas de torchon non plus. Même le flacon de savon pour les mains était vide. Le micro onde était placé à un endroit sans prise. Il serait bon d'investir un peu d'argent dans les équipements. C est une maison pour six personnes mais il n'y a même pas assez de vaisselle pour tout le monde.

Le taille du logement, beaucoup d'espace pour tout le monde. La facilité de parking, le lieu très beau. Il faut récupérer les clés au supermarché juste à côté mais c'est très simple.

Le logement est propre, et joliment rénové. Mais ce pour quoi nous l'avons réservé principalement, c'est pour son emplacement, au bord du port dans un superbe fjord !
