Hôtel OYAT Ile de Ré - ex L'Escale

Everything was really great and we would definitely like to go back to this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very good.

We love the location. The style and comfort of the hotel and rooms. The staff are very nice as well.

All was good, except the room this time was very small.

The room was clean, bed was comfortable and we had free Wifi. They also allowed us to store our bikes in the courtyard.

The staff seemed a little on the edge. We had a few occurrences when dealing with the hotel staff in the restaurant that they were not very helpful and pleasant. I have worked in hospitality for most of my life, so I understand the stress a stretched service can put you under. But you should never let your customers see it and extend a smile regardless of what is happening in the background. I do must say the blond lady in the hotel was an exception and was very helpful and positive when dealing with us. Thank you!
