10/10 – Outstanding stay A superb location with a really nice host who lives on the premises. The cottage is set in a quiet spot, ideally placed right in the middle of Anglesey. Whether you want to hike around Holyhead Mountain, watch live rugby in one of the local clubs on a Sturday afternoon, or visit one of the many nearby castles, everything is just a short drive away. The house is a beautifully renewed cottage that has kept the charm of the old days, while being modernly equipped, even with underfloor heating. For those who prefer to self-cater, the kitchen has everything you need. The place is very clean, and the host is easy-going and always open for a friendly chat. In the backyard there is a little hill with a lovely 360° view. It makes it easy to check the weather in the morning and decide which place to visit to avoid the rain. It is also a great spot for your first coffee of the day, watching the rabbits and listening to the sheep waking up. It is a very relaxing place (my blood pressure instantly dropped by 10 points 😉). Definitely worthwhile to visit again.

Spacious characterful accommodation in a quiet location, situated centrally making it easy to explore the island. Great facilities and really helpful owners, everything we needed!

Well located barn conversion for exploring Anglesey

A well appointed barn conversion set in a secluded area. Very clean and airy. Rick, the host was very pleasant and welcomed us on our second day. Private garden area and ample parking. Microwave, cooker, fridge and freezer. Large bathroom. dining, kitchen areas, double and twin rooms.

Everything sexed for self catering accommodation Spotless with thoughtful extras Far surpassed our expectations ! Richard and Sally were extremely helpful - giving us ideas where to go with our 12 year old grandson

A beautiful building with lots of outdoor space

The quiet location, surrounded by wildlife with fabulous sunrises, sunsets and starry nights. Lovely modern bathroom. We also loved the history of the building, the quirky layout and the renovation that has been done. Met by the friendly owner on arrival and departure. Wifi and smart tv if you needed it. Lots of space to park and turn and loads of grassy field to run round on.

A beautiful barn conversion, lovely quiet location. Facilities were excellent, warm, and comfortable. Had a lovely stay when visiting family nearby. The owner was very nice and really helpful.

Having to come downstairs during the night to reach the bathroom. However, the bathroom was beautiful. It was a minor inconvenience and wouldn't put us off staying again.

I already miss it and want to return

Such a lovely property including the grounds! The barn is so cosy and well decorated, comfortable beds and couch, huge bathroom with a great shower and fully equipped kitchen. Outside has a little hill with benches on top, fab for a beer to watch the sunset. Bonus points for the absolutely adorable wild rabbits that live on the grounds too <3 Rick has also been a perfect host with good communication

super accommodation, perfectly equipped, super quiet. Perfect for families, large garden with sun loungers, great for playing football, relaxing, recovering! The hosts were super friendly too! It doesn't get any better than that!

Idyllic setting for our fabulous holiday.

Host Rick was extremely helpful, personable and on hand for anything we needed during our stay. Generous accommodation all round and very happy to be flexible with timings for departure etc. The whole place was ideal for our stay. Equidistant from most parts of the island, we did lots of exploring and also only 30 minutes back to north Wales for other activities. The cottage was very well equipped, warm and comfortable. Consistent good weather added to our extremely enjoyable stay. Thank you, highly recommended!

Struggling to think of anything, perhaps the only thing lacking was a pair of scissors in the kitchen and that's really trying hard to find something! 😂

The location was brilliant, pretty much in the middle of the island, so it was easy to travel anywhere. It was very peaceful with amazing views and lots of outdoor space. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners who were next door if you needed anything.

The hosts here were fantastic. The spacious 2 bedroom converted cow barn was an absolute luxury. Beds were comfy, Kitchen was fantastic, lounge room was great and the underfloor heating was amazing. The sleep was amazing as it was so peaceful there. Great bathroom, with fantastic fluffy towels. Beautiful spot out the back to watch sunsets. Rabbits running around everywhere, just beautiful. This was a great stay and if peace and tranquillity are what you are after this is the place for you. Great value too.

A lovely property in a perfect location

Superb central location for exploring the island. The properties are away from the main road down a longish driveway. Very quiet and peaceful and beautiful far-reaching views from the mound. The barns have everything you need for a relaxing an enjoyable stay

Everything was pretty perfect. The only things we can think of that would make it even better would be bedside lamps on both sides of the double bed (there is only one at present) and a door mat in the front entrance porch to clean shoes on those not so dry days!

Beautiful barn in a stunning setting, with a welcoming host

Absolutely beautiful converted barn in a wonderful countryside location. Host was incredibly friendly and welcoming, there to meet us when we arrived and there to say goodbye when we left. The barn was comfortable, well designed and the views around were stunning.

The main bedroom is upstairs, again beautifully designed with lovely big windows and a balcony. Only downside was that there's not a door to eliminate noise from our fellow guests downstairs. If all are going to bed at the same time it's no trouble at all.

a very relaxing enjoyable rural stay back to nature.

amazing cottage very nicely decorated, the huge bonus was access to a large field for kids to wander and play. then the top of the hill was great for bbqs and watching sunset. the property was so private in a lovely rural location - highly relaxing!

The fridge in one of the cottages was faulty so some of our food had to be thrown out. Rick didn’t realise about it until we let him know, it sounds like it will be fixed soon. The hallway light was on auto sensor so in the night it became an issue if we were checking on the kids - as it came on very bright and wasn’t able to be switched off.
