property is central to the tourist district where all the major monuments are located as well as the Douras river. Property was clean and well equipped for the price we paid. We were met by the owner/manager Hugo on arrival who gave us an informative talk. He immediately replaced a broken kettle and kept in communications with us via whatsapp to make sure everything was good. It was very quiet and we slept well.
Nothing to dislike for a a few days stay! There were 4 flights of stairs to climb, but that was part of the fun and Hugo kindly carried our 20Kg bag up.

The location was fantastic and Filipe who greeted us was very cordial and helpful !
The shower leaked if you are not careful and we noticed a little mold near the floor next to the shower . This probably should be addressed before it becomes a big problem .
There is big hill you have to walk to get to the apt which can be difficult with people with mobility issues .

The host was very nice as I was warmly welcomed with a bottle of Port wine, chocolates, and loads of information on things to do. The location was exceptional, within 15 minute walking distance to pretty much everything except the beach. Overall, a great stay.

The location was excellent and the host Hugo was attentive and helpful. There was plenty of hot water.
The apartment was a little tired and did not meet our expectations having read the reviews. There was no outlook from the apartment and the lounge was small with no window. The bed was not comfortable.
The shower room required an update.
