Lovely apartment in quiet location, wonderful break.

Excellent location, 30 minutes drive from north or south coast, peaceful location. Clean, modern, comfortable apartment, excellent shower, well equipped modern kitchen, comfortable beds, nice spacious rooms, nice views, sheep and ducks on farm, quiet location. Everything we needed. Friendly welcoming host. Lemon cake on arrival. We stayed 5 nights, went too quickly!

Please note, spiral staircase to reach apartment 2 floors up, was perfectly fine for us but would be an issue with young children or less mobile.

Solace at Demelza

Kim and Tony are wonderful hosts, and the doggies are very placid and friendly! We arrived to freshly baked delicious lemon drizzle cake, which is such a thoughtful touch. The apartment is well stocked, and Demelza is situated in a beautifully quiet hamlet, with lovely views of the countryside, lots of birdsong to enjoy, and the most amazing sunsets. Feeding the chickens and ducks and collecting wggs were the highlights for the children! Thank you!

Wonderful stay in a little patch of heaven.

The owner left basics in the apartment such as sugar, tea and coffee so no need to bring with you. Lovely, peaceful location with ample parking. Plenty of fresh linen for a few days stay. Children got to feed animals on our first day.

Lovely host, beautiful location, would stay again!

Kim is such a great host, with a lovely cottage. The area was so quiet and idyllic. Welcome pack included some fab recommendations for the local area. Loved that we were able to feed the animals on the cottage grounds (chickens and ducks, and pet the sheep!) Loved the welcome cake (lemon drizzle - Yum!)

A little gem in rural Cornwall

Superbly located to explore Cornwall. The apartment was beautifully designed with a fully appointed kitchen and was very comfortable. The area was tucked away in the middle of nowhere with just the wonderful sounds of the countryside to enjoy...including the cockerel's wake up call in the morning! Kim was really friendly and accommodating and was kind enough to bake a lovely cake on our arrival. All in all it was a lovely, relaxing week for both of us. 😁😁

The only downside was the spiral staircase to access the building so it would be very challenging for those with mobility issues. Other than that, it was excellent.
