This property is situated in an isolated peaceful environment. we enjoyed sitting out in the evening watching the young swifts and swallows practicing aerobatics. The cottage was neat tidy and easy to keep clean . The hosts introduced themselves and were there if needed but were not intrusive.luxury to have two bathrooms in this size property, it was very useful.there are no shops close to the village but Wadebridge proved the best for supermarket. You would need to travel for a pub meal, restaurant, or drinks .Easy to self cater in the property. The property was family friendly with games available, safety gates at top and bottom of stairs. The wood burner may need a guard if it was winter time.

It was a very lovely location, well-situated for visiting various places in the county. Charles was very welcoming and friendly, and the freshly made scones from Charmion were lovely! My child loved feeding the animals. We liked the cottage and felt at home very quickly. It was well-furnished and we were grateful for the "starter" items supplied in the fridge. We only had a few (minor) gripes. The first concerned the bathroom basin taps: because they are not mixer taps, it meant handling very cold and scaldingly hot water simultaneously. My child decided to use only the cold water tap, as it was too difficult for them. The second very minor point was that a few more shelves in the bathroom and bedroom would have been very handy. The wardrobe does not have many shelves, so unless you already have hangers in your suitcase, it will be difficult to place many items in the wardrobe. But, overall, these were minor points and we had an unforgettable stay. :)
