Also within easy reach is Lanhydrock House (NT), or take the steam train from Bodmin to Wenford Bridge. Hire a bike and cycle the Camel Trail, which leads to the market town of Wadebridge and beyond to Padstow. The property is well placed to visit the attractions on both the south and north coasts of Cornwall including Looe, Polperro, Port Isaac, Boscastle and Tintagel. Shops and pub 2 miles.
