Das Haus und der Außenbereich sind liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Lage und der Blick sind der Wahnsinn! Unser Kontakt vor Ort - Pippo, ist total nett und äußerst zuverlässig. Obwohl wir kein Italienisch sprechen, war die Verständigung dank Google Übersetzer problemlos.

L’emplacement est l’emplacement idéal pour des vacances au Stromboli. C’est un véritable havre de paix, bercé par le calme environnant et le son des vagues. A trois pas de la mer et à côté du sentier pour aller au volcan, on finit par avoir du mal pour aller visiter le reste du village tellement on a tout pour se sentir bien dans cette maison. Tout est à disposition, seuls les draps et serviette de bain sont en supplément.

The position is magic.

The house is advertised with pictures of a sand beach - but in reality is now a boulder beach thanks to big currents last year, which makes access to the sea very difficult for small children and the elderly) and the layout is not a 2 bedroom arrangement as described, rather there is an en suite main bedroom and an open mezzanine floor with two beds in it over the kitchen/living area. This is problematic as those staying on the mezzanine have no privacy, can’t enjoy a rest if other guests in the house want to use the kitchen or sitting area, and access to the only bathroom is through the main bedroom or via the patio, but seeing as the door connecting the bathroom to the main bedroom doesn’t shut properly, it can be awkward if you need to use the bathroom at night... plus, even if you try and walk really quietly on the mezzanine floor, whoever is in the main bedroom below gets woken as the wooden floor/ceiling is super thin and everything echoes. Then comes the substandard furnishings - from lumpy pillows and terrible mattresses to broken shower doors, a broken old rusty fan and appalling kitchen equipment (let’s just say there isn’t even a chopping board...), substandard linen and not even a bath mat supplied with the towels (for a hefty additional fee at that), lights without lightbulbs and outdoor furniture that is in terrible condition, no comfortable seating anywhere in the house or outside, and the bamboo shade that is falling to pieces and weeds in the place of plants in the tiny garden (even cacti or indigenous scrub would have been fine), the whole house feels abandoned and unloved.
