About this house rental
Our house is a two-room apartment on two floors: the ground floor consists of a living room / kitchen (with sofa bed) and a bathroom; on the first floor there is a bedroom, another bathroom and a balcony, and on the 2nd floor there is also a large covered terrace, private and equipped with deckchairs, chairs, table, kitchen area for outdoor dining in total relaxation.
It can accommodate 2 to 5 people; Our holiday home is located in the center of Lipari, in the Old town, near the main street Corso Vittorio Emanuele, two minutes walk from the square of Marina Corta; nearby available to all main services (5 minutes walk from the port of ferry terminal and Portinente beach).

We spent 8 days on Lipari and the flat was comfortable and in a good location in a quiet, car free street just 10 minutes walk from the Marina Corta in one direction and the main Corso, with supermarket, in the other. The terrace is a great asset with lovely views and a comfortable place to retreat from the afternoon heat. Unfortunately, my husband was unwell but we were able to extend our stay for a couple of days which was a great relief. Giuseppe was very helpful and responded quickly to any requests. We really enjoyed staying in Malvasia, in the heart of the local community, but tucked away from the busy areas. Access may not suit everyone as there are 20 stone steps up to the first floor and a spiral staircase to the terrace but we are in our 70s and coped without any difficulty. I would enthusiastically recommend Malvasia as a great place to stay.
