Perfect location for City and seafront

Views from the balcony were great, only could’ve been improved if the scaffolding wasn’t there although nothing the hosts can do about this

Workmen on the scaffolding before 7am on a Sunday morning was a wake up call I would happily live without

Fantastic location easy to get around to see Sunderland

Loved the location. We went to the football which was only 15 minutes walk away. The property had plenty of room for our short stay. We would use again when in Sunderland

The building had scaffolding around it as maintenance was going on which was a shame but didn't affect our stay.

Did not meet expectation.

The location is perfect for visiting the city and easy access to public transport. The view from the property is very good.

Non of the electric heater work, lights in the hall way were not working, the beddings smell like not dried properly, some furniture are broken, there are black mould in the shower corners, water tap is not secured properly, etc. The apartment is in need of tlc.

It was a great location and provided you didn’t want to cook food and were prepared to eat out fine.

The apartment wasn’t very clean. The kitchen utensils were dirty and there was no tea towel to dry any dishes you washed. The freezer was frozen over and it would have been good if the second bathroom had a shower curtain to stop water going everywhere.

Perfect for family and friends to have a get away and enjoy the city with a view

Stunning decor throughout the property with views of both city and the river from the large balcony garage was easy to find but confusing on what was the garage and what was construction work but once we used the key Thob provided we quickly realised where it was we was needing to enter only a quick 2 mins stroll into the city with access to all leisure in area via foot

Size of apartment was great very clean and great location for everything in Sunderland. Beds comfortable and for price can not think of anything in Sunderland which would be better

Disappointing. A lot of money for something that needs a lot of attention.

The view

Heating did not work so it was very cold. Especially in bedroom. Towels like sandpaper. Sink and kitchen cupboards and utensils were dirty. Needs a deep clean throughout. Duvets thin. Sharp blade left in kitchen. Not all lights work. Mould in shower room and bathroom. Door handle fitting loose. Loose tap in shower room. No lid on the one bin in the kitchen so tendency to smell. Owner contacted but never got back to us.

Really lovely place to stay

The penthouse is in a great central location, comfortable and clean with stunning views over the River Wear and Roker as well as the city scape. It has everything you need and Lisa was really lovely, meeting us and showing us where everything was.

Great place to stay - if the lift is working!

Lovely apartment with great views, in an excellent location for the city centre

Unfortunately the lift was out of order and the trek up to the 10th floor truly was horrendous. Not the apartment owners fault but it was the only downside to an otherwise excellent stay

Good location. Average apartment.

Good location nice enough apartment for the money.

The apartment block its self had seen better days. We were on the 10th floor and when checking out the lift wouldn’t work so we had to walk (2 heavily pregnant women so not ideal!) but the staircases were all a mess, chunks out of the walls on practically every floor really needed some TLC. So overall let it down. Room its self was nice enough.

The view was stunning with wrap round balcony. Thre location.Two bathrooms. Open plan living space modern comfy sofas and a smart TV for netflix etc flexibility to drop bags off and check in.

There was only one shelf in the oven which made it hard to cook a meal. The cupboards needed a deeper clean and wipe. There was some beautiful modern ornaments mixed with some old fashion which didn't really go with modern decor.

Location was ideal for aquatic centre.price was right. Check in and out was really straightforward, staff really accommodating and helpful.

Unfortunately, the lifts were out of service during stay, but this was just unfortunate timing and wouldn't normally be an issue.

Clean and good value for money.

Apartment was clean, good sized and close to the Empire theatre. Private indoor car park.

The apartment didn’t have curtains which meant it got very bright early in the morning. With it being on a main road it is quite noisy with the traffic. Two of the window catches were broke. Lift was broke which we were told about in advance and given the opportunity to cancel but needed somewhere to stay close to the theatre. The apartment is roughly a 250 stair climb which meant we planned to only go up and down once during the visit.

They apartment was fantastic great views clean tidy everything u need its like home from home. Great host met me on arrival with keys excellent value for money only one thing the lifymt was broke so it was 250 stairs up and down but this couldn't be helped, will definitely be staying there again.
