Great fscilities with close location to nearby ski resort Kronplatz

Location is slightly remote from the shops, market and other facilities therefore you will need to visit nearby town Brunico

We had a fabulous stay and would thoroughly recommend Falkenau.

Falkenau is in an excellent location with close access to the ski slopes in the area. Although we had a car, Falkenau is very near a train station so you could catch a train to the ski slopes . Ursula our host was warm and gracious, always ready with a smile. The rooms clean, quiet and spacious. Breakfast is definitely worth the extra cost. It was a sumptuous spread. Prepared by Ursula, our breakfast table was full of farm fresh, homemade produce including cured meats, cheese, home made bread, cereal yoghurt, stewed fruit, preserves, honey and delicate cakes. It is also worth having a look at the farm animals that Falkenau keeps.

Ursula is the heart and soul of this place! She made us feel very welcome, took care of food with her delicious homemade goodies and gave us great tips on what to see/do. The guest house is super pretty and comfortable.. totally recommended!

Breakfast is very tasty with a lot of local food, enough parking places, friendly and helpful stuff, nice view from the 1st floor

No dinner restaurants nearby and car is needed to reach anything, not very good sound insolation between rooms, no info materials in English (only in Italian and German)

Exceptional

Our hostess was amazing. The breakfast of foods produced on the site was excellent. We were given a transportation pass that allowed us to use the train, busses and lifts was a great bonus. We were road biking and it was paradise. We rode the train to the Austrian border and rode bikes back down on the bike path, beautiful ride. We also did routes over Passo Furcia etc., a road rider’s dream.

The WiFi network was intermittent at best. This was the only negative of our stay.

La colazione non ha soddisfatto le nostre aspettative.. sarà stato demerito del fotografo o eccessiva bravura nel valorizzare ciò che non è stato?!!? 🤔..e poi è impensabile vedere le mosche svolazzare e fare colazione prima degli stessi ospiti !!!?🤦🏻 La posizione non è stata delle migliori visto che ci trovavamo in una zona pseudo - industriale.

Più attenzione riguardo la colazione... e permettere agli ospiti di poter fare una doccia visto che mancava tutto il necessario (fatta eccezione per gli asciugamani).

Vriendelijke gastvrouw, mooie nieuwe kamer en badkamer, heerlijk ontbijt, mooi uitzicht.

In de badkamer waren te weinig ophangmogelijkheden voor handdoek en toilettas.
