The TERRACE ON THE TEMPLE is an apartment located on the third floor of an ancient nineteenth-century building, without a lift, located at the entrance to the island of Ortigia, the historic center of the city of Syracuse, since 2005 a World Heritage Site.
Equipped with a romantic terrace with an extraordinary view of the Temple of Apollo, the oldest Doric Archaic temple in Sicily, and with a view of the sea, it is the ideal place to spend an unforgettable holiday between culture, sea and fun.
The apartment consists of a double bedroom, bedroom with double sofa bed, living / dining room, n. 1 bathroom, kitchen, for a total of n. Sleeps 4. It is equipped with TV in all rooms, washing machine, air conditioning, dishes, pots, hair dryers, household cleaners. The terrace is equipped with armchairs, table and chairs.
In front of the entrance to the building there is a typical colorful Sicilian market, where you can buy fresh fish, meat, vegetables with a thousand colors, fresh fruit and typical products of the Sicilian lands.
Near the apartment you can take advantage of various services such as equipped beach, bars, restaurants, pubs, pizzerias, taxi service, solarium, car, dinghy and bicycle rental, boat trips, shopping, night clubs, internet point, etc.
The nightlife of the city is concentrated on the island of Ortigia, which represents the reference point for all those who wish to stroll along streets rich in history, admiring unforgettable monuments such as the Duomo, the Fonte Aretusa, the Temple of Apollo, the Maniace Castle , Palazzo Bellomo, and the Church of Santa Lucia alla Badia.
The size of the island allows you to travel entirely on foot. For those who do not have a car, it is possible to reach all the nearest seaside resorts by bus and, from this year, Fontane Bianche by train in ten minutes.

We stayed a month and so appreciated the size of the property and rooms, and the terrace, and facilities such as washing machine and kitchen. The location is great giving easy walking access to everything in Ortigia and also Syracuse area, including the station. but don't expect an early night's sleep as the music from the restaurants and nightclubs is quite loud especially on weekends. But the advantages of the location outweigh those negatives. A few minor issue along the way, but our host responded very quickly.

Die zentrale Lage auf Ortigia, in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Obst-, Gemüse und Fischmarkt lässt eine andere Welt eintauchen. Nur das Parken gestaltet sich kompliziert. In der Nähe gibt es das kostenpflichtige Parkhaus Talete, ansonsten fanden wir auf dem Corso Gelone, 10 min. zu Fuß meistens einen Parkplatz. Das Schlafzimmer hat kein Fenster, sondern eine verglaste Tür zum Flur. Die helle Wohnung befindet sich ohne Aufzug im obersten Stockwerk des Gebäudes, vom Wohnzimmer gelangt man direkt auf eine schöne Dachterrasse. Die Ausstattung in der Küche ist sehr gut und die Wohnung ist mit Geschmack dekoriert.

La TERRAZZA SUL TEMPIO è un fantastico attico, accogliente, pulito, e ben arredato. Ho trovato tutto ciò che mi serviva per trascorrere 4 giorni in assoluto relax. La terrazza è semplicemente fantastica con una vista mozzafiato ... si vede il Tempio di Apollo, e il mare ed è molto romantico riuscire a bere l'aperitivo al tramonto ... spero di tornare d'estate per poter cenare al tramonto.
