About this house rental
La Vida - what could better describe this dream villa in southwest Florida. The dreamlike location of "Villa La Vida" on one of the numerous waterways in the city of Cape Coral with an incredible view of the wide-opening canals will enchant you immediately. You can enjoy the sun all day on the large pool deck and in the meantime you can cool off in the pool, which of course also invites you to stay fit. You will experience this part of the villa as pleasantly as the beautifully and elegantly furnished living and sleeping areas. After entering the villa you are overwhelmed by the great view of the terrace and the vastness of the water. In the house you will find the dining room area on the left before you enter the elegant living area. A lovingly decorated built-in wall with a very large TV and home cinema system is an eye-catcher.
Hartmut O. E. Mine has more than 30 years of experience in the international real estate and new construction business. In 1995 he specialized in Florida as the founder and managing director of BMI Immobilienberatungs GmbH without neglecting the market in southern European countries. In 1999 he founded the BMI of Southwest Florida with his wife Angelika Berger-Meins as president and they led the company to one of the most successful of its kind with a high level of quality in this region.
We welcome you with a starter kit: one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, a kitchen roll, a small hand soap in each bathroom, a small disinfectant, dish washing liquid and some dish washing tabs, fresh dishcloths and brushes and enough tea towels.
The rent is valid for an occupancy of up to 4 people. Each additional person will be charged at the displayed price. Children up to 3 years are free.
We charge $0.16 + tax per kilowatt hour for electricity costs. The units are determined on arrival and departure by photo of the electricity meter.
If you are not present at the agreed check-in or check-out time without cancelling, we have to charge $50 for our additional work time.
For insurance reasons we do not rent boats, bikes or kayaks. However, there are numerous rental options. Our on-site team is happy to help.

For years my son has been asking me to book a home where he could see the sunrise & set. Well, this house offers both. The most beautiful scenery ever! As for home itself, it was a little smaller than homes we've stayed in previously but who needs all that extra space when it has everything, and I do mean everything you could ask for. We loved the house so much that we wanted to book it for next year, however, we had one issue which was the AC did not work efficiently on the side of the house where our son stayed. So the temperature of his room was warm during the entire stay. Hence the 4 star rating. He had to set up a fan that he found in the closet to get some type of coolness.
The house manager, Jen, was exceptional!!! She addressed any issue we had within minutes. As for the A/C issue she did her best. The A/C tech came out and did something one day while we were out of the house and it seemed to work for one night. Again Jen tried to get it resolved for us because she also felt the warmth in the room. However the A/C tech told her there was nothing they could do because the sun hits that side of the house all day. She and I both did not agree with him because the room was still warm during the evenings.
Other than that, we had a fabulous time. Enjoyed the pool which was warm from the sun everyday.

We rented a boat and tied to the dock. We heated the pool for additional hours as it was cool a few days and the electricity bill was still reasonable. A great rental.

The house was amazing, nicer than the pictures. Had a little trouble heating the pool because before we got there the weather was so cold, but the hot tub was amazing. Super clean house and beds were very comfortable! Bird cage was gone due to hurricane but for this time of year it didn’t deter us too much! Will definitely go back!
