About this house rental
A newly built very spacious 3 bedroom 2 bathrooms townhouse, with its own heated private pool a charge will be added for pool heating the garden has all day sun. The house is furnished to a very high standard with leather settees, crystal chandeliers and white marble floors, also has a large flat screen HD ready TV and DVD player plus numerous films for you to watch, or you can barbeque around the pool on our BBQ. A further garden below and a terrace from the master bedroom gives you magnificent views of the sea. This beautiful house is equipped with air-conditioning/central heating and electric awnings.

We really enjoyed our stay. Check in process simple. Helen the cleaner was extremely helpful and was just a call or text away if needed. Infact her communication with us was impeccable!!
Location nice and quiet and close to the Pueblo, Mijas, Benalmádena centre and Fuengirola via a taxi which were all reasonably priced.. We enjoyed the lovely pool, air conditioning and Netflix. Restaurants we visited were La Perla, La Fuentes, The Lilsc tree, la scorpion. We thoroughly recommend the town house and thank you for a fabulous stay ☺️

Firstly, Mike and Norma are excellent hosts and their communication either directly or via their point of contact in Spain, Helen, was excellent. We had issues with the Wi-Fi which was out of their control but they worked hard to resolve.
The Villa sits in the hills of Benalmádena, 5 min drive to the gorgeous Pueblo or 10-15 mins drive to the main strip. With 2 young children we didn’t attempt any walking but in our opinion a car is pretty important if you want to do anything based outside of the villa - we had one so wasn’t an issue. Within half hour east or west of the coast we managed to see so much. A trip to Mijas is a must and the bio-park is a fantastic zoo if you are looking for something to do.
We were unlucky enough to have 4 days of rain during our week stay, which meant we really had to “live” in the house. Whilst the town house possesses lots of charm it undoubtedly could do with some TLC. Little things such as a very wobbly unstable toilet, all the wall clocks without batteries, and an ancient oven that we could only get to grill just a few examples. The outside dining table is also in a pretty fragile state.
In summary, I would recommend the villa for guests to stay. The outside area is really lovely and it’s in a really good location for a base. With a little bit of a refresh it could be really special place.

Everything was good. The place, the pool, the surroundings. The only two things we will write about is the cleanliness and the aircondition. When we arrived the first thing we saw was that it looked like nobody had made a thorough cleaning for weeks. There was a lot of dust in the corners and there was a lot of ants in the kitchen. The floor was also quite dirty, so you could not have anything laying on the floor. The linens looked like they weren’t washed before they got on the beds. The day after our arrival we wrote to the owners, and he said, that he would contact the cleaning lady , but nothing happened. The pool area was clean, so that was good It was not possible to turn on the air conditioning in the living room due to a high electric bill the owner said.
