About this house rental
Our property is ideal for a relaxing holiday in the heart of Provence:
A bright, modern house ideally located in a quiet residential neighbourhood of Bouc Bel Air in the heart of Provence.
Just a 15 minute drive from the centre of Aix en Provence and 25 minutes from Marseille (Aix en Provence TGV station: 15 minutes & Marseille airport: 25 minutes).
While being close to all amenities and offering easy motorway access for the beach and daytrips, our home offers tranquility and breathtaking views across the surrounding Provençal hills.
The perfect base for discovering the region, as well as for spending lazy days with the family by the pool.
Floor area: 130 m2 / 1400 sq ft.
Ground floor:
Large open plan kitchen and living / dining area which opens out onto South facing swimming pool, terrace and garden as well as onto a large north facing terrace providing stunning views and welcome cool shade in the hot summer afternoons.
The pool measures 8.5m x 4.1m and is non-chlorinated (gradual incline from 1.1m to 2m). There's a light in the pool for the evenings.
2 south-facing rooms: 1 bedroom with kingsize bed (160 x 200cm), 1 TV room with large flat screen TV and English & French channels + DVD player. Both rooms are equipped with ceiling fans and have French doors which open out onto the garden and pool side of the house. 1 large north facing bathroom with washbasin, combined bathtub/shower (not to mention an amazing view!) and a separate WC.
First floor:
2 bedrooms with queensize beds (140 x 190cm), and a separate bathroom with wash basin, shower and WC.
Our home provides the ideal spot for spending a relaxing holiday near to all the local attractions.
Within walking distance of the bus stop for local buses to Aix en Provence and a 4 minute drive to the bus stop for Marseille.
Visit the charming town of Aix en Provence and discover its rich history, the famous Cours Mirabeau, restaurants, cafés, wonderful markets, museums, festivals and much more ...
You will be able to visit the following all within an hour of the property:
Cassis and the "Calanques" (creeks), Marseille, Avignon, Arles, Saint Rémy de Provence, L'Isle sur la Sorgue, Les Baux de Provence, Lourmarin and surrounding villages (in the Luberon), La Ciotat and the beautiful « Côte Bleue » with its fantastic beaches ...
Nîmes, Uzès, Pont du Gard, Orange, Porquerolles, Moustiers-Sainte-Marie and Les Gorges du Verdon, Le Lavandou, Bandol are all within easy driving distances for daytrips.

PS: Please note that there is a very friendly cat in the neighborhood whose family moved away and left :( We put out a bowl of cat biscuits in the garden some evenings if we see it. The cat is not allowed in the house and obviously there’s no obligation to feed it, however we leave a supply of cat biscuits should holiday makers wish to ;)

We had a lovely stay in Nancy and Igor's house. The house is beautifully decorated, clean, comfortable and equipped with everything you need. Communication with the hosts was excellent - quick to respond and couldn't have been more helpful. With Aix-en-Provence only 15 minutes away we had lots to see and do. I would very much recommend it.

Nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances en famille chez Nancy et Igor. Leur propriété est dans un quartier très calme de Bouc-Bel-Air, à proximité d'Aix-en-Provence et de Marseille. Plusieurs commerces sont accessibles en voiture. L'intérieur de la maison est spacieux et décoré avec goût. La vue depuis la terrasse Nord est impressionnante et permet de déjeuner / diner à l'abri du soleil. Côté Sud, la piscine et le jardin sont parfaitement entretenus. L'espace TV et la connexion WIFI sont un point fort, notamment pour télétravailler. Enfin, Nancy et Igor sont réactifs, disponibles et chaleureux. Ils ont été soucieux tout au long de notre séjour à ce que nous manquions de rien. Serviettes, draps, propreté, gentillesse, organisation, excellence et perfection.

Notre séjour a été des plus agréables, tant grâce à une résidence confortable, propre, lumineuse, bien agencée, avec d’un côté la piscine et de l’autre une vue dégagée sur la forêt, que grâce à la présence chaleureuse « virtuelle » de Nancy et Igor.
Et le petit plus très sympathique et surtout pratique: un petit panier garni pour l’apéro du soir, et pour le petit déjeuner.

La maison est très bien agencée, la possibilité de s'installer au dehors des 2 cotés de la maison est trés agréable. Nous avons pu séjourner dans cette maison en période de chaleur, le rez de chaussée est trés bien adapté si l'on prend la peine d'ouvrir le matin tôt et de laisser les volets fermés la journée . Le premier étage est un peu chaud, mais supportable la nuit. L'espace disponible est très large, ayant un bébé nous n'avons pas beaucoup circulé au dehors, à aucun moment nous avons eu l'impression d’être enfermés.
La piscine est le joker en cas de coup de chaud, impeccable. A noter l'absence de barrières qui peut être un problème avec des petits enfants sachant marcher, pour nous avec un bébé de 2 ans ce n'en était pas un.
Rien à dire sur les équipements et le reste de la maison.
Les propriétaires sont très accueillants et visiblement soucieux de nous voir passer un bon séjour (Merci !!!).
Le quartier est calme, aucun bruit la nuit.
