APPARTEMENT DERNIER ETAGE DANS BASTIDE

Magnifique bastide, emplacement exceptionnel au calme, très proche d’Aix. Grande piscine très agréable. Géraldine est attentive et disponible.

This property was one of our favorite stays on this vacation and the host was absolutely lovely. The apartment was the third floor flat of what I would describe as a vintage, modest French country estate. It was clean and comfortable and the setting was a bit magical with wind rustling in tall trees, the windows overlooking a long lawn leading out to the pool area. The pool was a great respite from the heat and the entire stay was a good rest in the middle of our trip. There was adequate cooking utensils so that we could make our own dinners and take a break from eating out. Location was great - just a brief drive to the edge of Aix and parking lots to visit the town (American drivers unaccustomed to European roads - be aware the road to the house is quite narrow from what you are used to...). The host was wonderful and helpful in providing advice and information for our stay.

Appartamento in un bellissimo contesto. La famiglia della proprietaria, che abita al piano di sotto, molto cordiale e simpatica. Unici il giardino e la piscina. Ottima soluzione per visitare Aix che è a pochi minuti in auto.

Lovely location though quite a long way into town, you need your own transport. Friendly host. Good size apartment. Good kitchen. Private swimming pool, very pleasant.

Steep stairway up to apartment. Shower and toilet configuration not user friendly.
