Amazing host, very friendly and helpful. Quiet but very close to the old Geisha area. Room was very comfortable. Mr GAOooo (the Chiba) is super adorable

Super friendly and helpful host! Spotlessly clean room and facilities. Location is in downtown Kanazawa, but no more than a twenty minute stroll to all the sights or 2 mins to share bike parking. Supermarket and convenience stores 5 minutes away, and izakayas just round the corner. You are living in someone's house, so the accomodation is intimate and on the smaller size, but considering price and location, this is great value for money, especially if you are a solo traveller looking to experience Kanazawa as it really is. This is basic accommodation, don't be fooled,, but it is done really well.
Nothing! I have had traditional futons at home so find them comfy, but first timers might struggle with sleeping on a firmer surface.

The localisation is really good, close to touristic areas by foot, and easy to access by bus from the Kanzawa station. The owner is lovely and welcoming :)
