About this house rental
Two independent villas in typical Aeolian architecture with pleasant sea views, surrounded by a large garden.
The villas are well furnished and equipped, including all comforts. Independent from each other, united by the private garden that surrounds them, which offers a valuable space for leisure and outdoor relaxation.
Casa Glicine (2 + 2 beds), large terrace, bedroom, kitchen, living room with double sofa bed, large bathroom with shower. The two houses are separated from the access road and divide the common outdoor space of the garden. They are equipped with air conditioning (hot / cold), ceiling ventilation, stereo, satellite TV, wifi internet, hairdryer. The location well situated in the center of the valley makes the climate enjoyable both in winter and summer. The large and shaded parking area, private and inside the garden. The distance between Lipari and Canneto's old town is 3.5 Km. The road is comfortable and never too busy, well connected. The resort is also quiet during the full season of tourism.

The house was rebuilt from an old farmhouse while maintaining the architecture of the Aeolian house with the typical patio (terrace) and bisuoli (seats) in masonry. All doors open to the terraces and the garden. The daylight is very bright, to make contact with the vegetation closer to the interior while making privacy. The terraces with different exposure and views (sea, garden, hill) are adapted to be lived in the most opportune moments of the day. The simple and functional but well-equipped furnishings make life pleasant in the house. Pleasant starry evenings, outdoor dining in the gentle climate of the island, peaceful weather on deckchairs or hammocks. Both the sea and the country can be reached in five minutes by car, so you can live in the house and move with ease even more frequently.
Peace and the relationship with nature are the strong points of this location.

We spend one week at Casa Scirocco Glicine. It is a wonderful place in the middle of an impressing park which belongs to the property. The appartment is just like described and like you can see on the pictures. We felt very comfortable inside as well as on the terrasse outside. The wisteria outside offers a pleasant shade. When strolling through the park we found lots of herbs, lemons, apricots and capers.
Maria welcomed us in the beginning. She is a lovely person and an old hand Liparian. Her green basket with vegetables and fruits from her garden was awesome.
The location outside / above the city is peaceful but therefore a vehicle is highly recommended. There is a big parking spot on the property. It's a 10 minutes drive to Lipari centre. We enjoyed the calm environment and the view on Vulcano and the sea.
It is a lovely place to stay and when coming back to Lipari we would definitely book it again.

das Foto der Terrasse mit Garten gibt nur einen kleinen Ausschnitt, der wunderbaren Anlage. Knappe 4 Kiometer von Lipari Stadt entfernt kann man sich in einem wunderschön renoviertem Landhaus inmitten eines wunderschön angelegten Gartens, (bzw. Parks mit fast 10.000 qm) erholen. Die alte Baustruktur (Holzbalkendecke mit teilweise bewusst freigelegter Deckenkonstruktion) wurde perfekt renoviert und mit moderner Technik bis hin zur Klimaanlage modernisiert. Die Küche wurde im äolischen Stil mit schönen alten Fliesen errichtet und selten haben wir eine so gute funktionale Küche mit Ausstattung gehabt (großer Kühlschrank, 4 Gasbrenner- (die auch alle tadellos funktionieren !) sehr viel Koch-und Essgeschirr...
Die Terrasse ist komplett mit Blauregen überwachsen, so dass man sich immer im wohltuenden Schatten ganztägig aufhalten kann ..mit Blick auf das Meer und in den grünen Park. Mit Auto oder Roller ist man in wenigen Minuten in Lipari oder Canneto um im für Einkäufe im supermercato etc. Wenn man ein Apartment sucht, gerne mal einen frischen Fisch oder erntefrisches Gemüse selbst zubereiten will und sich von Wanderung und Badeurlaub auf einer schattigen Terrasse in Ruhe erholen will, dann gibt es vermutlich kaum einen besseren Ort in Lipari.

Für 2 Personen ein tolles Ferienhaus. Casa Scirocco glycine ist hübsch eingerichtet und ruhig gelegen, die Terrasse sehr gemütlich, die Ausstattung perfekt, an alles ist gedacht. Es ist sehr sauber und Maria, die sich um Ankunft, Reinigung und alles kümmert ist sehr sympathisch und bemüht.
Man braucht ein Auto/Roller, Maria hat uns gleich zum Verleih begleitet und es gibt auch einen Parkplatz am Haus.
Definitive Empfehlung, wir würden wieder mieten.
