About this apartment rental

During Summer months (June 1 - August 30) we only rent from Friday to Friday with one week minimum. In Newport Beach California with full ocean view. This property is a non-smoking property with a front patio is located on the boardwalk next to the sand. Four blocks south east of Newport Pier. Free wireless Internet. Apartment has full size, completely equipped kitchen, Master bedroom has queen bed, second bedroom has 1 full bed below and 1 twin above (bunk bed) , with a full size futon in living room. 2 TVs. Comes with its own carport and washer/ dryer access. Just 30 to 45 minutes to Disneyland and 15 - 20 minutes to major malls. Excellent location for seeing all of Southern California!

This is our second time staying at this property, and we brought a large group and rented two of the units available. WOW. We had such a great time. Steps from the sand, hear the waves crash, and you’re mere blocks away from everything. We will absolutely be coming back.

Property is in need of painting, cleaning of the outdoor patio, and some updates to the interior including bathroom. Communications with the property manager were excellent as he addressed some issues we had. Very responsive and professional.Can not beat the location, location location for beach and ocean view.

Would stay again, not luxurious and fancy, but it did the job and it was a great place to stay very affordable and is located in a good location overall would recommend. However, the only problem I had was coming in from the beach there isn’t a hose or anything to wash off so it got a little sandy sometimes, parking was nice never had to worry about finding a spot, however if you have a big vehicle it gets a little hard to get out of your car.

I stayed here for 5 nights and I loved every minute. Your view is nothing but sand and see with Catalina in the background. It is a 5 minute walk to the pier and all of the wonderful restaurants and bars in that area. It's about a 4 minute drive to the Balboa Fun Zone. Everything is so convenient. The property is absolutely immaculate and you even have your own covered parking spot, which I can't express the value of enough, especially during busy times. Don't hesitate if you can get this place.

Our in-laws rent this house every year and love it. As a first time renter I thought it was okay. I had to reach out for the access code as it wasn’t provided.There was 1 washcloth and no dishwashing tablets. The property manager sent regular towels and dishwasher tablets - so he tried but still we only had the 1 washcloth. The house is on the corner which means people convene there and you can hear a lot through the windows and walls. Can also hear the people upstairs quite a bit. There is no nightstand or anything in the second room so stuff that doesn’t go in the closet is on the floor. The charging situation is rough. The main room had a sketchy charger behind the bed that I couldn’t get plugged into and a charge strip up behind the tv which is what I had to use. We used the kitchen for charging our things mostly. Killed a cockroach in the kitchen…Beach toys aren’t provided but they did have some in the garage and they did have plenty of chairs and umbrellas. We thought we were staying an extra day and didn’t get a checkout notice or email of any kind but when the cleaning people showed up I contacted the property manager and he didn’t charge us for the 45 minutes we needed to get packed up and out of the house which was nice. It is on the boardwalk which is so nice but it is cheaper so you do get what you pay for!

Perfect oceanfront location. 3 steps to the sand, 8 minutes to the pier, 3 minutes to Marina Park and playground. Easy to walk or bike everywhere..restaurants, grocery store, coffee, etc. This rental is very basic and outdated, but the location is everything. The unit was as described, pictures were accurate and everything was clean. I appreciate the parking spot, but the carport spot is very tight for a midsize suv and street parking is tough to get. The massive windows are great for ocean views, but most windows are non functioning, which may be a problem in hot summer months. They do provide fans. It's on the busy boardwalk, which is fun for people watching, but you do lose some privacy. One bedroom window is next to a busy sidewalk. There's some privacy issues there due to the low quality window blinds. If you love staying oceanfront and are low maintenence, you'll enjoy this unit. I will rent it again.

We stay here every year. This year the sliding glass door screen was missing and it was hot so we had to keep the door open which let a lot of flies in. We also could have used another fan because one was broken. We asked but we didn't get a response

Great location, clean property. Having a parking place was great. The kitchen was nicely equipped. Easy walk to restaurants and pier. The only thing that I would change if it were my choice, I would have better window coverings, it was really hard to get all the blinds going in the same direction. But that being said, it wouldn’t stop me from staying there again.

The location couldn't be any better - right on the beach and close to restaurants, etc. Julio was quick to respond if we needed anything. However, even after fixing the vertical blinds that were in the living area and bedrooms, there was still a privacy issue. Many of the blinds were not laying correctly, leaving gaps. So, because we were directly on the boardwalk, changing clothes, sleeping, etc was still an adjustment. The unit had towels/linens, however,some of them were stained, which I hadn't noticed til late in our stay or I would have requested new ones.

This is the best spot to unplug and relax - I can't wait to go back. I enjoyed the gorgeous patio that looks out onto a huge and quiet beach, with sunsets over Catalina Island on the horizon. People on the boardwalk are very respectful, so I felt fine being right there. House was very clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. Property manager was very responsive. Very close to Newport and Balboa town centers, and walking distance to grocery, restaurants, and shops.

We had a great time, the location was absolutely perfect! Being able to walk on the beach constantly. The boardwalk path was amazing, and we could walk to shops, coffee and restaurants. Also the holiday light parade was going on while we were there and we were able to walk over to the park to watch. A great place for family to stay.

We parked our car upon arrival and didn’t use it again until departure. The apt. Was exactly as advertised, beautifully equipped , clean, and the location was brilliant.

We were lucky to stay at the property the end of December with our two teenage sons. We did not know what exactly to expect as we had never been to the Newport Beach area. We were blown away by the location of the property and all four of us loved it. The area was safe and actually quiet for its location in proximity to the boardwalk. Julio was fantastic and responded quickly to a question we had and remedied the situation. Thank you so much for a few days of R&R - it was exactly what our family needed to recharge.
