The location is the quiet luxury here. The Pacific is a short walk one way; Newport Harbor and the bay are a short walk the other, and Lido Marina Village — with its waterfront dining and boutiques — sits just around the corner. Newport rewards both ambition and idleness in equal measure. You can fill a day with sun and saltwater, a slow stroll down the boardwalk to the Newport Pier, an afternoon drifting around the harbor — or you can do gloriously little and still feel like you've made the most of it. Evenings tend to end the same enviable way: somewhere with a view, watching the sun drop into the ocean. There's more here than beach days, too. The Balboa Peninsula and its old-school Fun Zone are made for wandering, the Balboa Island Ferry offers one of the most charming short crossings in Southern California, and Fashion Island rounds out the shopping-and-strolling itch. For something quieter, Corona del Mar's coves, the trails and tide pools of Crystal Cove State Park, and the tucked-away calm of Sherman Library & Gardens are all within easy reach. However the day unfolds, Harborlight is the part you get to come back to — a private, low-key home base a few beats removed from the bustle, where the door is your own, the sand is close, and the coast is right there waiting. Home Truths: - Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in this home. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval, there is a fine of $500 per pet. Parking: - There is only 1 reserved parking space, located in the garage. - Max 2 vehicles allowed — one in the reserved garage space and one in front of the home for street parking. --- This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs. As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation. Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees. IDs will be requested for verification after booking. All bookings over 28 days require a security deposit.
