About this farm stay rental
Mirriminna is a property of 360 acres set in rural Upper Hunter Region. We value the nature and our privileged setting in the valley so we spend our time walking or ATV adventuring, relaxing in the gardens or at the river as well as many good times in our oversized kitchen. Winter or Summer this place of hospitality is our home... your home.
We cater for couples or family groups.
There is an orchard to raid in season, wonderful walks to the river or up country, mountain bike trails and the mandatory pool lounging in the Hammock or day beds....or a library read near the two fireplaces.
Its a place to unwind pure and simple.
Resort Style Country Homestead with all the right appointments
Our farmstead is our home and you are welcome to use the kids table tennis and bikes just be considerate in their use. Snooker Room, swimming pool and Cabana, reading room with fireplace , grand lounge room with 6 mtre high ceiling and stone fireplace, sunny Conservatory adjacent to the kitchen caual dining area, internet access, WiFi cell phone calling and good music stations in all areas. There are plenty of indoor relaxing spaces and outdoor areas to chill out on the covered lawn spaces. Soak up some sun on a pool hammock or bean bag....sip on a mojito ( our own garden mint and limes) and layback on a day bed or two . Each of the 4 guest rooms has their own access from the rear as well as their own veranda area with French doors leading out to a covered lawn and pond.
The huge executive Master Suite with king bed and lounges is annexed from the main house and has two patios and lawns with direct access to pool.
Get refreshed...unwind...
Mirriminna is a retreat from the busy life and as a resting place for the weary traveller in need of a top up of homely comforts without too much fuss from its hosts. Usually we leave you to enjoy on your own, we are not far away in town if needed.
There is wildlife aplenty, fishing in our river, a small gym workout !! or a walk on our marked trails ( 5kms) nature photography, mountain bike workout in the high country and ......yes there are too many other things to tell you....you will have to come see
We think our place is special because it feels like a home we would love to stay at... if we didn't have Mirriminna to call home. Its got all modern comforts, big fireplace, covered outdoor areas, BBQ, nice lawns and gardens.
Our location is on the tourist route Golden Highway. There are local Vineyards close by to visit on your way to or from the property rather than day tripping away from all we have. Merriwa is our local supply town and we are 18kms west of the town. we supply a mud map to get here and at night, watch out for kangaroos!

My friends and I absolutely loved the house and it’s surroundings. Not only did we swim in the pool but we explored the land, went fishing at the near by river and loved the fresh fruit and eggs that were on the property. We enjoyed games nights in the lounge room. We even had a competition going in the snooker room. This getaway was something unforgettable. Definitely would recommend taking any dirt bikes there as there was plenty of land to explore. Bob was absolutely such an amazing host providing us with all the necessary information about the house and it’s surroundings. One issue for us was the bridge and crossing, but thankfully we had 4WD and Bob had informed us that the bridge was getting fixed for future guests.

What an amazing place to relax, the dogs loved running around and swimming in the river. We will go back for sure.

We really enjoyed our stay at Mirriminna. The farm house was very well equipped and we wanted for nothing. The owner Bob met us on arrival and pointed out several of the features of the house. We will be back again.
