Exceptional sea view for dream vacation in Cala d'Or

We were 3 couples, staying for 10 days. The villa is as good as the photos suggest. Good sized rooms, all en-suite. The location is superb. What a view. Last in the road, before the sea, so hardly any passers by. You cannot fail to enjoy a stay here. Great sunrise, if you’re up.

Perfect for us in every way. The villa is in a stunning and peaceful location overlooking the sea yet walking distance to the beaches and the centre of Cala d’Or.The villa is spacious and kept to a very high standard. Great stay. Beautiful property and views. The photos don’t do it justice!

Beautiful villa in a superb position directly facing the sea. Lovely deep pool and plenty of sunbathing space on the patio with additional seating areas. Large lounge/dining room but quite small kitchen. Sheltered courtyard area for dining is excellent, as is the gas-fired BBQ.The master bedroom is very spacious with an enormous balcony (but not really utilised); the other 3 guest rooms are of a reasonable size. Two rooms have twin beds. All have en-suite facilities and air-con.There is no mid-week maid service (which in our experience is unusual for this price point) although bedroom towels are changed once if required - but not pool towels. Indeed, there were one or two servicing and cleaning issues which need the owners attention. Additionally, no one was at the villa to greet us on arrival as promised - which was disappointing.The property owner - Nathalie - was very helpful and communicative throughout the booking. Note that all payments are made by bank transfer with no provision for credit card payments with associated consumer protection - which we would have preferred. Cala DOr town and nearest beaches are a 10 minute walk with shops and bars and a small supermarket - but quite touristy. A further 10 minute walk takes you to the marina at Cala Llonga with superior restaurants.If this is your first time staying at a villa like this, then there is a big Wow factor. If youve previously rented villas of this standard and price, you might find one or two shortcomings. That said, we had a very enjoyable and relaxing experience.
