Sanga Nikko - An Authentic Japanese Guesthouse Experience

Staying at Sanga Nikko was an incredible experience. It was truly special to be welcomed into an authentic, traditional Japanese home. I want to give a special mention to our host, Yoshi, who was exceptionally courteous. He was prepared to provide us with maps, excellent advice, and shared his extensive knowledge about the city. Another wonderful detail was that he kindly lent bicycles to my wife and me completely free of charge, which was a fantastic way to explore the area. His outstanding hospitality made our stay much better!

Yoshi was a great host, and he made his home feel like ours. The location near the bus stop and train is excellent.

Yoshi and his wife Dea were very welcoming and the guesthouse is lovely furnitured..It's only 5 minutes walking distance from the station and locaed in a small quiet street near restaurants Yoshi was amazing! He provided us so much helpful information also in paper form which ensured we know exactly where to go and get on and of the bus. Plus restaurant, hiking and cycling tips. What we also appreciated very much, that they always prepared some fresh fruitsand some granola in the morning with coffee and tea. Yoshi is renting bicycles and as guests we were allowed to ride them for free which we did. It was fun and we were able to discover another nice area with huge oak trees nearby. The cherry on the cake was his offer to get a photo done in his photo studio inside the guesthouse. He offered it as a souvenir! What a wonderful souvenir. We were touched by his kindness!

Yoshi our host is exceptionally helpful and friendly. The property is very conveniently situated and easy to walk to restaurants and the shrines.
