Within close proximity to the beach, the marina and the historic centre of Lagos this fabulous apartment is the ideal place for couples, families or friends to spend a relaxing holiday. Having a private pool for the sole use of 'a fabrica' clients means that a dip in the pool to cool off is just a few yards from your doorstep.

Located on the Bay of Lagos and set amongst the best beaches in the Algarve, 'the Marina' is not only at the heart of the historic old town of Lagos but also offers the opportunity for the discerning traveller to spend an unforgettable stay and a place to where you are sure to return.

The centre of Lagos is a easy 10/15 minute stroll and is very flat, so suitable for push chairs or wheelchair users. The mixture of the historic buildings and the bustling markets are delightful, with so much to see and explore.
The main supermarket, supplying fresh fish/bread/groceries and fresh bread, baked on the premises, is across the road from the apartment and open early morning until late in the evening.
There is multitude of activities within a short distance from the apartment including many well know attractions that excite visitors year after year. These include water parks, Zoo marine, dolphin safaris, horse riding, go carting, and many more.
From the marina waterfront you can enjoy daily trips, to see the amazing grotto's and cliff formations, dolphin trips, diving adventures, para gliding, and off-road quad biking.

The apartment is located a pleasant 10-minute stroll from the beautiful golden sands of Meia Praia beach. Travel:
The complex is located 77km from Faro airport and is served by an excellent motorway. Journey time is approximately 45 minutes and a taxi will cost in the region of 80 Euros. For parties larger than four people, alternative travel arrangements can be made easily. Please ask for details when making a booking.

Distances:
The apartment is ideally located within walking distance of the bus and train station where transport can be found to all of the many attractions of the Algarve, including the water parks, Zoo Marine, Zoo, Algarve shopping centre, Cape St. Vincent etc. Shops, supermarkets, bars. restaurants and the waterfront are 5 mins (or less) walk away. The old town centre is 10-15 mins walk along the waterfront and golf courses are approx. 10 mins drive away. All of the attractions can be booked through our Website or our agents in resort.

Further Details:
The Marina is within a short walking distance of Lagos town, railway station & beach. There are numerous cosmopolitan cafes, bars and restaurants in the Marina, together with cash machines and telephones. It is a gentle 10-minute scenic stroll across the river and footbridge to the bustling town of Lagos, so car hire is not essential.

Great property in good location , about a 15minute walk with 3 young kids to centre of Lagos with good selection bars and restaurants,apartment was clean and tidy ,great pool with added benefit of a toilet to save going up and down to the apartment

Beautiful apartment, very well maintained and fitted to a high standard. The pool is lovely, very clean and we had it to ourselves for most of the time. The location is also fantastic, within walking distance to the marina, the town of Lagos, a large supermarket, and very convenient base for exploring the Algarve. Highly recommended.

Algarve retreats were good to deal with and very responsive by email and text. Property is well maintained and has everything required for a relaxing stay in a lovely town.

Property was ok. Is looking tired could do with freshening up. Showers very weak. Cleanliness not great. A lot of the crockery chipped. Draw underneath the television a mess!! Had I have known it was on a main road would never have booked. Lovely balcony but pointless as the noise from the road is awful. In the apartment have to have the door closed to hear music or TV. There is a small pool on sight which was good, however the sun loungers are dreadful all sunken and very uncomfortable. The property manager (Paula) kindly picked us up from the railway station which was appreciated. I was surprised to not have a change of bedding or clean towels for a 10 night stay. We had to purchase washing powder to wash our towels !!! No spare bin bags or toilet roll provided, when I called was advised have to buy our own. For the price paid these things were very disappointing. We were not contacted at all during our stay to see if everything ok? Have stayed in many apartments and villas over a number of years, this didn’t reach the standard of any I have previously stayed in and wouldn’t go back or recommend unless some major improvements.
