About this villa rental
A comfortable, bright house, fully equipped for 7 persons.
Our house is located between the village of Vlachata and Lourdata in Kefalonia, less than 1 km from the famous beach of Lourdas, near the foothills of Mount Ainos.
There are traditional and luxury eating places, car hire, mini bank, supermarkets , a cocktail bar and a friendly british bar. This is all walkable, however if you want to go to the beach, it's about a km walk down the hill. During summertime there is a bus going to the beach and coming back a number of times a day.
Transportations
Unfortunately Kefalonia is not known for its good bus links as they are few and far between and run mainly for the locals. There are lots of taxis at the airport and there are companies who you can pre-book transfers with. We normally hire a car as this is the best way to travel around the island.
Instructions to come to John's House Sea View:
From town of Argostoli take the road towards to Poros. Go this way for about twenty minutes until you meet the Village Vlachata. In 'Aegean' Gas Station (in central of the village), you go down towards Lourdas Beach. When you see taverna 'Spiros' you turn left and about after 100 m. you find our house on your right hand side. (opposite of Erofili Villas).
Outside the house there is enough space to park.

I came to Greece hoping for some peace and quiet, and that’s exactly what I got, and more! With a balcony overlooking the mountains and the sea, a big house, amazing kitchen, great rooms, the house was equipped with everything I needed.
Costas was amazing and though he was not present on the island, he checked in with me on a regular basis, and helped with every little thing I needed.
All in all my stay was amazing, and I would highly recommend!

We loved everything about our holiday at Ioannis house in Kefalonia. The view from the balcony over the Ioanian sea was just lovely! Perfect for sitting with a glass of Kefalonian wine after a day exploring the Island which has lots of places to see. Costas has a very good knowledge of the best places to visit and all the good tavernas in the village. Thank you Costas for the fabulous BBQ and all the Greek food you brought us to try, it was just delicious! We stayed for two weeks and at the end of our stay we had become firm friends with Costas, and can't wait to return.
