About this villa rental
”Villa Riviera” is ideally located for golf lovers close to the Golf Club in Sainte-Maxime and just 800 m from beautiful La Nartelle beach offering jet and water skiing, cosy beach restaurants with amazing sea of the ocean. Town centre is a 3-minute drive away and about 20 minutes easy walk to the center. It is an elegant destination facing Saint-Tropez, and a family friendly resort with an exceptional climate with almost 300 days of sun per year and mild winter temperatures between 12 and 19 C°. The villa has been newly renovated in 2020: kitchen, garage, hobby room, living room, studio, master bedroom and upstairs with two bedrooms.
Ground-floor : Entrance hallway with one guest toilet. Living room with fireplace, panoramic sea view with 3 soffas, armchair, tv and dining area. Provensal open kitchen with direct access to terrace with beautiful sea view, weber and outdoor furniture, 1 master bedroom with own terrace and beautiful view over sea and garden, 1 bathroom. 1 separate toilet. First floor : 2 bedrooms with en suite shower room and 1 separate toilet. One of bedrooms with access to solarium balcony. Garage: studio room with bank bed and sink (with independent access and entré), laundry space; hobby room with sofa bed, ping pong and dart board.
Guest access:
Access to a professional check in and check out English speaking staff who live in the same area and can help with information about area, questions, tips etc.
Access to the entire house with the exception of private lockers and cupboard in the garage belonging to the household staff. It is forbidden to use fireplace because of fire risk.
Both towels and bed linen are included. Cleaning is included, but gross cleaning must be done before leaving: to set dishes in the dishwasher, throw the soups and clean the barbeque from food residue.

At the far end lies Pointe des Sardinaux, a protected nature area facing a beacon out at sea and a well- known site for scuba diving. Lovely house in the hills with all you need to recharge (including a new sauna near the pool), about 25 mins walk from nearest beach which we walked to several times. Read the house manual as gives lots of local tips on routes to town and beach. We spent quite a bit of time in the house using the pool, playing ping pong etc and it served us well! Good communication from Coralie the house manager who gave us loads of recommendations on the area/restaurants, and even shipped back a few things we left behind. Will revisit!

This is a magnificent property on the hill with a clear view of the sea. The area is extremely quiet and peaceful and yet only a 6 minute drive from the city centre making it perfect for dining out. The property is well fenced and very private. We particularly enjoyed the whirlpool and the well maintained swimming pool which made us somewhat lazy to head to the beach which is a 5 min drive away. The manager and the owner of the property were both very welcoming and ready to assist in all aspects. We were given some recommendations for restaurants within the area, although there is a detailed manual (written in 4 languages) in the living room containing all possible information that a guest could possibly need including wifi connection, cable, clinics, day tours and excursion possibilities. The good organization made it so easy for us to feel like we were in our own home. Everything in the house was perfectly functional and the attention to detail was impeccable. There is no room for boredom as so many activities were well laid out including the dart game and table tennis, not to forget the sauna. We only spent 5 days which turned out to be too short and definitely look forward to returning for a longer period in the near future. We would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the St. Maxime area. And the village of Grimaud next door is a must see. Truly something special. Again, a recommendation from the manager. C'est la 4è villa que nous louons en Juillet à Ste Maxime.
La villa est charmante, à proximité des plages de la Nartelle ( 2mn en voiture avec parking facile) et du centre ville ( 7mn en voiture). La vue mer est surtout appréciable depuis les chambres du premier étage, beaucoup moins dégagée des terrasses de vie du Rdc ....
La piscine est très bien, grande, à la fois ensoleillée et à l'ombre appréciable d'un grand pin parasol.
Peu d'espace autour, avec les maisons adjacentes très proches, ce qui donne un aspect un peu encaissé à la maison.
Un jacuzzi bien chaud en été (....) qui à mon avis gêne la vue sur la baie et un sauna à côté de la piscine.
Très belle suite parentale au Rdc, avec une vraie salle de bain. 2 chambres correctes à l'étage mais avec seulement une salle d'eau minuscule, un peu difficile pour les 4 personnes logés à l'étage. Cuisine charmante bien équipée mais non climatisée avec un seul frigo beau mais simple. Un 2è frigo au sous-sol .... Un grand garage en sous sol aménagé en salle de jeu avec une petite chambre annexée climatisée, mais sans douche ni WC avec un simple lavabo ( pour les enfants sans doute). Donc beaucoup d'escaliers et une rampe d'accès très pentue pour arriver à l'entrée de la maison.
A revoir : certains draps de lit tachés et des serviettes de salle de bain très tachées. Ménage intermédiaire demandée mais non réalisé.
De belles vacances dans cette charmante villa typiquement provençale, mais un peu déçu des prestations par rapport à nos précédentes locations pour un budget similaire
