About this villa rental
For those seeking seclusion style and space, Villa Perosa is definitely for you! This was our family home & there is something for everyone in the family to enjoy.Air conditioning & stylishly furnished and decorated throughout and surrounded by well maintained lawned gardens together with colourful garden borders around the pool area. The ground floor combined living/dining room -with separate kitchen boasts both washing machine and dishwasher together with microwave. open plan features two sets of French windows leading to large furnished sun terrace facing the pool.There is also a second terrace under cover for shady eating next to the kitchen. One double bedroom is located on the ground floor with a convenient separate shower room. The first floor offers one double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with the remaining two bedrooms being twin bedded and sharing a full bathroom. The villa also has a purpose built BBQ for cosy meals together whilst the children play in the really large 12 metre (40 ft) swimming pool. Or there is a great back up family Portuguese Restaurant two min walk up the road for when you don't feel like cooking or driving! Great homemade food at amazing value. For extra peace of mind and child safety the property is walled with lockable gate and indoor alarm electric shutters on all windows and doors.The location is fantastic for enjoying total peace & quiet & yet being so close by all amenities - The old fishing village - Olhos D'Agua is just 5 mins around the corner with lots of character & wonderful fish restaurants. you can even drive by sand track & then walk into the village . This is the beach with the famous rocks that are in all of the promotion photos for Portugal Tourism. There is a wonderful Fish Restaurant on the beach where if you stay too long & the tide comes in then you will have to get your toes wet walking back !If you fancy something a little more lively then Albufeira is approximately 6/7 mins away - every possible style of restaurant, bar & night life that you could wish for and all the major supermarkets including Lidl and Aldi.Vilamoura with it's famous marina,designer boutiques & sailing,water sports, surfing & fishing trips available only 12 mins in opposite direction.Not to mention the top 3 golf courses available too. Horse riding is available just 2 min walk away. You are surrounded by countryside & sand tracks for jogging or walking to beach. We had high hopes of the villa and we were not disappointed - a wonderfully clean and well spaced out living area in a quiet, private location. As many people have said before the pool was amazing. A set of steps at one end for toddlers and new swimmers sloping down to a 7 feet deep end - cleaned every few days and very well equipped with sun beds and inflatables. Air Conditioning was essential with high temperatures, so a good nights sleep guaranteed. Only two slight negatives, the kitchen is a bit 'quirky' with loads of glasses, cups, pans, crockery and cutlery but it just seemed a little chaotic. Great Air Fryer and large Fridge/Freezer though. The second slight negative is that the impression of places near by to walk to is a little inaccurate - the restaurant nearby was closed permanently and the walk up to shops etc. was up a steep sand track that was very hard going. Other than that, it was perfect and we would highly recommend anyone to make wonderful memories staying here.

We had the pleasure of staying here between 13th July 24- 27th July 24. This is a very impressive villa from the outside with a beautiful pool and maintained gardens. It is in a quiet rural location but in easy reach of Albufeira.
6 of us were staying and the the living space of the villa is spacious and comfortable. The decoration is traditional.
The master bedroom and other double room are quite small but sufficient.
The 2 twin rooms were a good size. The master bed open does not have a balcony whereas the twin rooms do.
The top floor is simply a viewing balcony which would benefit from some seating which would be lovely to sit on at night or in the early morning.
The bathroom in the master bedroom is in need of the TLC. The shower screen leaked and made the floor quite wet which could be quite dangerous.
The kitchen is in much need of modernisation. Drawer fronts were missing and just needed a really good clean. There is no oven but an air fryer and electric hob.
There is a utility with a modern washing machine which was really good.
I think if a hoover was.available then this would have been great to help hoover up as it was difficult with the little broom left.
As a family of 6, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, if the kitchen was better and the shower screen changed then this would have been the perfect villa!
The grounds really are to die for! So peaceful and great for kids.

This villa is beautiful and delivered exactly what we needed for a relaxing family holiday. The house is spacious with air conditioning in all the rooms. The garden and pool are private and well kept. We loved it!

We chose the Villa because it’s spacious and has a good number bathrooms to beds and a large pool. All of those things are fabulous and worked well for a mixed family group of 4 adults, 2 teens and 2 eight year olds. Pool is fantastic and Villa is spacious and very quiet so lovely relaxing time.
As others have said it is tired though. Various elements have been updated (comfy sofas, dining tables and chairs) but the kitchen needs some attention. There isn’t an oven just an air fryer which would be useful to know before hand. Also there is just a random selection of odd glasses and mugs. We found six wine glasses in the utility cupboard but otherwise these need updating (& could be very easily and cheaply done). Weirdly only 6 pool loungers for 8 guests, clearly replacing the old plastic ones with new ones as they break but would be preferable to just have eight decent ones!
Nothing around the Villa which is nice but you do need a car as no local walking distance shop for supplies and the local restaurant is just in middle of a back road & looked fairly dead. Local village is nice for sea food and easy parking. Slide and splash and other water parks in easy driving distance.
Recommend for the price, but don’t stay if you are frustrated by slightly run down things!
