Worth going back.

The welcome from Sue was wonderful, the apartment was spotless and the location was lovely in a very nice part of Skegness but just a few minutes walk to the beach and centre. We are definitely going to be booking Carron house again.

Perfect.

Everything was lovely. The host was amazing! She’s really friendly and an absolute star! The room was also great- it had a kitchen and an en-suite. The facilities were great and the hotel itself was close to a few shops and take-aways! It was a lovely experience.

All in all this was a great place to stay with good cooking facilities a comfortable bed and ample space to relax in

Cooking knives and peelers need to be sharpened or replaced and a small oversight was there was a bag of takeaway chips left in the microwave from a previous guest. LOL but nothing that impacted my stay

Absolute class.

The property was in an ideal location, close enough to the centre and beach but quiet. Sue was lovely and took me through everything thoroughly. My room was spacious with plenty of things provided, which was very handy.

It was home away from home with absolutely everything in top class condition. Everything I needed was at my disposal.

Every utensil you need was in the kitchen. The bathroom catered for every thing of my liking. It was clean, bedding of high quality. With an iron and ironing board as well as a hairdryer to my disposal.

Little Gem in Skegness

Owner was lovely professional and very clear on arrival with all relevant information.

Honestly it was the bed. Nothing wrong just getting used to sleeping in a bed that's not mine has always been my issue.

Excellent value for money!!!

Sue is very friendly and nothing is too much trouble for her. The apartment (number 1, purple room) was spacious and spotless. It’s very well equipped and even has decent loo roll 😂. Location was good, about 15mins walk from the train station in a quiet residential area. Despite being on a crossroads it wasn’t noisy, either from traffic or passing pedestrians. Make sure you read the blurb before you book - towels are not supplied but can be hired. Hand soap is provided but not shower gel etc. Upon arrival you need to pay £100 cash deposit but this is returned at check out. You’ll also need some £1 coins for the electricity meter. I thoroughly recommend Carron House apartments, Sue is a lovely lady and makes you feel very welcome.

Overall pleasant, helpful host.

Annoying loud voice announcement by the Ring doorbell camera- "you are being recorded" every time leaving and entering building. There were lots of tiny black specs everywhere and on bed when I arrived, No idea what they were. Also many little tiny flies that would jump around on ceiling and walls, some fly killer in the cupboard would have been nice to kill them. Probably came in from bathroom window which was wide open on arrival and attracted to bathroom light. Front room lighting not sufficient in the evenings and night, living area needs an additional lamp or brighter main bulb (warm soft white) TV stand not fitted correctly so TV was unsteady, informed owner of this. Mattress was poor quality and not comfortable.

Very enjoyable

The Lady who met me ( THE LANDLADY ) was lovely, super helpful, she took time to explain everything. The accommodation has everything you need, spotlessly clean and good location, plenty parking too. If i was ever to return to Skegness , this would be my first port of call.

The only reason i don't give straight 10's , was the WIFI situation. I informed the landlady re the lack of WIFI soon after i arrived, i have no doubt that she tried to resolve the situation, but it was near the end of my stay i managed to get WIFI, and even then it wasn't great, presumably because everybody would have been trying to use it at the same time. That was the only slightly annoying part of my stay, the rest was great.

Sue greets you on arrival and makes sure you have everything you need. I highly recommend Carron House accommodation.

The room was not only clean and tidy, but well equipped. Sue seems to have thought of everything. Little details like access to cling film and foil can make a big difference when travelling.

Absolutely fantastic. As soon as you walk in the building the smell is gorgeous. The rooms are spotless with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We had the pleasure of meeting Sue the proprietor who is the loveliest woman you can meet. Such a fantastic host. Fantastic Place and Host! 100% Perfect

Fantastic! From the moment I arrived I was greeted by the very lovely Sue who made me feel welcome and right at home. Sue ensured that I had everything I needed and was extremely helpful. The Apartment was absolutely luxurious and equipped with all anyone could possibly wish for. It was very clean and modern. The shower was a dream and the bed was far more comfortable than my own at home. Words cannot say how wonderful Carron House and Sue are. I hope to stay again in the summer. I can't wait. Huge Thanks and love to you Sue :)
