With a superb seaside location near Caherdaniel, just off the Ring of Kerry road, Westcove Farmhouse Apartment is ideally suited for a couple or two persons sharing. On the first floor of a new wing adjoining the owner's old stone farmhouse , it has its own private entrance, walled courtyard and parking area and is beautifully furnished and finished throughout First class accommodation includes large king-size or twin room overlooking Westcove Harbour and Kenmare Bay. Bathroom with corner bath and separate power shower, kitchen and dining room, private courtyard garden and parking.
A second ensuite double bedroom downstairs with its own entrance is available on request at an extra cost and subject to availability at time of booking.
A peaceful and tranquil setting, with flower filled courtyard gardens visited daily by a variety of wild birds

Beautiful rural location with a view of the harbour in the distance. Greeted by her lovely dog and 2 donkeys, the location makes you feel like you are in the heart of Ireland. The accomodation had everything you would need for a comfortable stay! Perfect stop at the end of day touring the Ring of Kerry.

Excellent and comfortable flat. Very well equipped with little extras added and decorated with interesting picturesThe owner was very welcoming and helpful. The view from all the windows was beautiful and the situation very quiet and peaceful. The location for the Ring of Kerry and some good walks in the area was excellent. There are some good restaurants not far away at Caherdaniel.

We enjoyed staying at Jane's place immensely! The apartment is very cosy, comfortable and furnished with a love for details. It has wonderful views from the windows and is a very special place to calm down, relax and just enjoy being there. Jane is a very friendly, supportive host and we enjoyed talking to her very much. We had a very exhausting journey to Kerry, but the warm welcome from our host Jane, enriched by lovely gifts, made the stress disappear at once. The apartment, house and property are designed with great attention to detail, so we immediately felt very comfortable. Together with the location overlooking the bay, the place unfolds a fairytale magic. We are still thrilled! Thank you so much Jane for the wonderful time we were able to spend in your house! This was a lovely, quiet place to stay while exploring this area!! Jane was incredibly helpful and nice (and she made bread!!), and her dog, Oscar, is basically my best friend now! Outside of town, so it's very peaceful. But, also, close enough to easily drive for dinner at night. I'd definitely stay here again if return to the nexl of Ireland!

We feel like we found a hidden gem. We weren’t sure what to expect but were delighted with an unexpected wonderful experience. We loved the full kitchen, beautifully tiled and sky lighted bathroom, the comfy places to sit in the bedroom, the beautiful views, the very kind and helpful host, the nearby hiking on the Kerry Way and many other trails, the places to eat, and the beautiful Kerry Cliffs. We are already planning a return visit. We just left yesterday and I have already recommended it to a number of people. This is a great place for any wanting a cozy getaway for time to enjoy the indoor and outdoor wonders of this Ireland haven.

The views from the property are stunning. The flowers and scent in the garden is stop you in your tracks gorgeous.We walked, swam and took a boat trip out in the Atlantic. Jane, our host was exceptionally hospitable and baked exquisite croissants.The weather was sunny everyday with clear cloudless blue skies. We had a wonderful week which really revitalised us. In particular, Jane was a wonderful host, providing her own bread to tide us over on arrival (delicious) and a cheery greeting each morning. Her lovely dog Oscar, still a puppy but rather large. wanted to steal the show and was a delight. He couldn’t compete with the croissants, though, which were the best we’ve ever tasted.

Jane was a great source of tips for exploring the beautiful Kerry ring. The flat was very comfortable with great views from the good sized bedroom. It has everything you need and a little outside seating area in a small walled garden. It was a great place to explore from with so much to do and see. We hope to come again soon. Thank you Jane! Again, we had a great time in this lovely and very cozy little apartment. Perfect place to forget about your everyday life and a good starting point to explore the fabulous surroundings of the Ring of Kerry. The hostess Jane makes a big effort to make you feel at home and very welcome here. We'll definitely be back.

A great little apartment with views of Westpier harbour. Very tastefully decorated, very clean with everything you need for your stay. A thoughtful welcome package with milk and butter in the fridge. Jane is a wonderful host and will look after you well. We will be back again next year.

We couldn't rate it highly enough, the care and attention to detail was everywhere, making the loft apartment super cosy and comfortable. The perches & views are tremendous and everchanging and whilst the surrounding area is already beautiful, Jane's creative touches inside the apartment made it even nicer to view outside on a soft wet day or to come back to when soaking. & as for the almond croissants or the marmalade... YUMMY bought a supply home.

We had the Farmhouse Apartment which was spacious and had all that we wanted; good cooking facilities, lovely shower and a huge bed. Jane had left us a welcome pack of home-made soda bread, jam, butter and milk - the bread was delicious and we made it last as long as possible! Jane was great and had lots of tips & advice about the area which turned out to be very useful and accurate. There is also a private area with table & chairs which we were able to use because the weather happened to be perfect. A great place to stay with an attentive host. Would highly recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to make a return visit.

From the moment we drove up the lane we knew we were on to a winner. Surroundings have to be seen to be believed from every window, each one different. Jane was the perfect host and the bakery / lunches were amazing. Too many favourites to pick just one, and we ended up buying jams, bread and rhubarb crumble to bring back home at the end of the week. Being able to bring our dog made the holiday even better and the private courtyard was a huge bonus. As others have mentioned the place had Mac the horse , Gromit the dog and the cutest Robin you have ever seen who isn’t shy at all. Plenty of other small birds have made Westcove their home and a happy bunch they are. If you want peace , beautiful surroundings and lovely animals look no further. Plenty of places to visit in the surrounding areas and further afield. Highly recommended and will definitely be returning.

We just spent 4 nights at Jane’s wonderful property and we’re still pinching ourselves to make sure it was real. The views were spectacular and Jane’s croissants were beyond compare. We will miss our evening walks to the pier and our sheep friends, Mac (the horse), Hare (the rabbit), and the sweet birds all around the property. In addition to all this, there was so much to see and do nearby. Thanks so much for your hospitality, Jane! We hope to see you again one day.

Our stay at Westcove was just what we needed to relax and enjoy the beauty of the west coast of Ireland. The location is fabulous, far enough away from the crowds, but still close enough for easy access to the famous 'Ring of Kerry' for driving tours and the 'Kerry Way' for walking. The self-catering accommodation was great, everything we needed was there and even a small bakery / cafe next door (with very tasty offerings). Our host (and head baker) Jane was awesome and couldn't have done more to help. If you enjoy awesome scenery, great wildlife and want to sample a taste of Irish culture and history it's all there in abundance. We thoroughly recommend it and thanks again Jane for making our stay one to remember.

We absolutely loved our stay here. It was off the road, so very quiet and peaceful. Jane is a delight!! She makes sure every little need is taken care of. Her property is beautiful with all the flowers and singing birds (with a delightful little robin!). The view of the bay from the bedroom window is icing on the cake. Thank you Jane!! The cottage was lovely clean and cosy and had everything that we needed for a comfortable short stay. We were able to take the wee dog with us, something that we had looked for in our property search. Although it is a fairly long drive to get to Catherdaniel (6.5 Hours from Co. Armagh) we’d do it again tomorrow!! If you want to get away from it all, but still find civilisation and everything needed to sustain life (Shop, Bakery, Pub) then it’s well worth the drive. Thanks to Jane for her easy going nature and her kindness in leaving us all the wee bits and pieces that we needed, bread, jam, milk, and tea, and even clover lapel pins for St.Patrick’s day!! To sum up our two night stay. - As they say in ‘The North’ when something’s good or agreeable; “100%!!”

We arrived at night on a very rainy day to a lovely warm apartment with fresh bread, jam, butter and milk in our fridge, which made us feel very at home. We had our two west highland terriers with us and there was a private court yard at the bottom of our stairs so we could let them out and leave the door open. There were lots of walks around the apartment for them too, we even went seal watching down at the harbour. Jane is very lovely lady, who lives beside the apartments and is on hand if you need anything. There are information packs in the apartment which told about local places of interest which were helpful. We would highly recommend staying at Jane's.

We were welcomed by Jane the owner to her lovely little apartment over her farmhouse. The freshly baked loaf of bread she had left for us from her bakery downstairs was delicious for breakfast the next morning. The apartment is well appointed and very comfortable for 2 people, with all you need for a self catering visit. The location is fabulous with views over Westcove from the bedroom window and stunning views of the stars on clear nights through the dormer windows. Great location, lovely host.....enough said! Thank you Jane for a wonderful 3 days. Make sure you visit Derrynane Beach....a highlight nearby.

We loved Jane's cottage, it is homely, comfortable and well equipped, with fantastic views. Jane's bakery downstairs supplies croissants, Cornish pasties and much more. My husband and I traveled to Ireland for our 30th wedding anniversary. We loved our stay at Jane's! The upstairs apartment had everything we needed, beautifully decorated, a cute and charming style. We woke up to amazing views from every window, the mountains on one side and the sea on the other. When we arrived there was fresh bread and marmalade waiting for us and in the morning hot homemade croissants! We would definitely recommend Jane's for a peaceful stop in the countryside. My wife and I stayed here 8-12 April. We loved everything about the place: the views of the boats in the harbor, the private garden area, the window reading nook, Mac the 30-year-old horse, Betsy the 40-year-old goose. The delightful hostess, Jane, looked after us with the kind of care it takes to keep those animals going for so long! An afternoon of guitar, bouzouki, accordion and singing in the courtyard while sipping hot chocolate and munching delicious baked goods and visiting with other guests who dropped by (followed that evening by yet more cameraderie and entertainment around a fireplace in a nearby pub). Our stay was truly enjoyable and unforgettable! We're back in the US, but still basking in the glow. It was such a great time! Thanks, Jane!! Thanks, Pat!!

We arrived to a warm wlecome from Jane and a cosy apartment with amazing views from every window. The weather was glorious and on our first evening we sat out in our little scented garden,lit with fairy lights and stars and enjoyed an al fresco dinner and champagne. We hadnt realized just how stunning the surrounding scenery is and enjoyed the beaches and mountain hikes. We steadily worked our way through all Janes baking - delicious brown bread, chocolate cake and almond croissants to die for! We loved our week and hope to go back. Thank you Jane
