Great, peaceful location, clean and comfortable with everything we needed for a short break.

Located in a shady spot, would have liked to sit in the sunshine in the evenings! But it didn’t detract from our stay.

Beautiful location, easy to find. Very relaxing. Equipment and basic provisions appreciated.

Nothing, but just a suggestion, instructions on how to use the tv. Couldn’t work it out - wanted terrestrial channels.

Great location to explore the areas we wanted to visit

Desperately needs some TLC. Bathroom is constantly wet as extractor is poor and exposed cold water pipes means condensation constantly drips into the floor, no window. Only a small shelf in bathroom which was broken so nowhere for toiletries. No cutlery draw so cutlery left exposed, and there are lots of flies. Only one baking tray, makes cooking challenging ! First evening was like sitting in an MOT waiting room, as owner was working on a car as we tried to enjoy a sunny evening. Tree branches need cutting back so you can sit under it, as had to move the table. Needs cushions for outdoor furniture. Tree constantly sheds “furs” meaning it gets walked into property. Why don’t you vac or blow the area. Could be a lovely property if hosts thought a bit more about their guests. As an update the owner was not "simply washing their car" as you state, this is a blatant lie, as the car was being worked on with the engine regular started and highly revved, then loaded onto a trailer for a race meeting. Nesting season does not mean a branch can not be cut back. If you are genuinely apologising for the issues please don't then make up stories. I suppose on our last night when the other man was dragging a hoist across the garden as we again sat to eat outside and as he was moving an engine from the shed and hoisting it on the engine crane into the back of the car, driving the car across the garden, and we sat next to this eating our tea, was he also only washing his car ? Please don't make things up its embarrassing!
