The Piggery

Very clean and comfortable, well laid out and well decorated with good sized accommodation that was perfect for two people. Peaceful location but close to places of interest.

There was nothing we didn’t like

Really well equipped, spacious, clean property. Lovely decor. We used it as a base to explore the area around Chichester harbour and the beach at West Wittering. 20 Min walk to local pub. You can book downstairs for 4 and the loft upstairs for 2 so good for a family group too. Lovely bathrooms - nice toiletries . Tea, coffee, biscuits and milk all provided when we arrived. Close to lovely village of Westbourne with shop, lovely cafe and pub etc.

It is off a fast main road which might not suit everyone

Good location, beautifully presented. Light bright and expensively furnished. Good selection of crockery etc. The local info in the welcome pack was great. Local pub across the fields was very good.

Terrible bed , old saggy mattress with new topper which seemed to exaggerate the dips. One of us ended up sleeping on a blow up bed and one on the sofa.

The layout was nice and felt very spacious. The bedding smelled lovely, clean and very fresh!! The TV in the bedroom, as the sofa was so uncomfortable, and the bed was super comfy, and I had a great night's sleep. A nice touch was being able to have a brew when I arrived very late, and the complimentary showering products. The closeness to Chichester and Emsworth.

On entering, I had to guess in the dark that we were in the right place. Thank you, SatNav! On leaving the property, there is no mirror for a very busy road, on which I nearly collided with a speeding car. I did need to use our mobile torch to open the key box. No blind or frosted glass on the front door. The sofa looked great, but have the owners ever sat on it for an evening to watch TV? The cutlery needs upgrading as it feels like it was picked up at an Antique shop. It is not a restful retreat, as by 7 am the horseboxes are banging down the pot-holed lane to the side of the property.
